Easily setup, first two days it recorded activity (not accurate but close) then failed the next 7 days, used in conjuction with ipod and wasn't close with distances, was using in a location that had measured distance and came up short both days it gave me information, one day spent 30 minutes walking and recorded 212 steps, took back for a refund

I have had my bit for about 3 weeks now, and I love it. It is pretty accurate. I have watched the screen and the fitbit matches me step for step. I figure it is accurate to within 200 feet per day, which is about 100 steps (depending on stride length). The clip is very secure. I put my bit on in the morning and it doesn't budge an inch until I take it off at night. I keep my bit attached to my bra strap. I feel I am less likely to knock it off during the day or throw it in the washing machine. If you are going to wear it somewhere where you move or bend a lot like your waist band, I would recommend getting a tether for it. The clip is pretty good, but there is just too much movement in that part of the body for the clip to hold on. I love that it records my sleep. When I go to bed at night, I put the bit in the soft wrist band provided for this purpose and start the timer. The band comfortable and It doesn't interfere with my sleep. My fitbit tells me when I go to sleep, how long it took me to fall asleep, how many times I woke up in the night, and when I woke up in the morning. It then gives me a sleep efficiency rating. I am learning a lot about my sleep patterns and how much sleep I need to feel human the next day. The silent alarm is awesome. I have always hated being startled awake by my alarm clock in the morning, it just strikes me as a rotten way to start my day. The bit vibrates against my wrist, which for me is a much more gentle way to wake up. It helps me start my day in a more pleasant state of mind. Most importantly, find it helps keep me motivated. It encourages me to move more every day. I find myself going for walks after dinner just so I can reach my step and floor goals, or to get that next badge. My husband just told me he can already see a difference in my appearance. He says I look more toned and that my waist is more defined. Woo-hoo! My fitbit is awesome!

I bought this tracker primarily so that I could track my time on a stairmaster, but all I got were the floors (1 floor) climbed to get to its location - I didn't even get the number of steps I had climbed on the "floor"! Additionally, the case that is provided is extremely difficult to attach to anything and once attached looks like it will fall off. And I would never want to put the tiny device in a pocket: I'm sure it would soon join all the loose change that I occasionally see scattered on streets where someone has put a hand in their pocket and inadvertently pulled out one or more coins.

I tried the fitbit one for a month and noticed that it will count steps with very little movement for example moving around in a chair or your lazyboy chair it will count steps.

I lost mine after a week due to the clip not keeping it secured to my pocket. So the $100 was wasted. Get a cheaper step counter. All of the extra features requires a lot of manual input daily. Might as well track your calories etc in a spreadsheet. To measure your sleep, you have to push buttons when you sleep and wake. Annoying. The calorie counter was off from day one. It would tell me I had taken 50 steps and burned 2000 calories. I suspect that is not accurate. I was not happy overall with what I paid for what turned out to be a step counter.

Kept falling out of the little rubber clip. I eventually lost the clip so I just have the little pedometer nub and haven't replaced the clip... Lame...

I was amazed by the first one I had as it worked perfect..but I lost it - my mistake. So I bought 2 new ones. One for me and one for my wife and both did work grat as long as the first charge was on - thereafter they went dead and neither could be charged again. The customer service does not come back and so I am very disappointed by the company and at the end by the product as well. I can only recommend not to buy it until they have solved their quality issues.

I had to replace my original FITBIT after 18 months and I waited for the FITBIT One instead of getting the Ulta. Pros: *I didn't think that tracking stairs was important to me but now that this feature has been added, it makes me want to use the steps more. *I like the ability to wear it on the cup of my bra. I like the discreetness. Nobody knows I have it and wearing it. It's kind of my little secret. *Once the original broke, I had gotten complacent in moving. Once I got this and saw how little I was moving, it made me want to move more again. It has helped motivate me to go back to the gym and workout at home. * Easy to set up and sync with my computer. * Easy to move through the stats on the device. * I like that they designed this one with a little case instead of the hook like the original and ultra. This is where my old one broke. We super glued it and it eventually disintegrated. Not only will this prevent the device from becoming weak in that area but it will help prevent the sweat from affecting it as well. *The website is free and easy to use. Cons: *This doesn't slide as easily on some of my bra's as the original one. But it still works. *I haven't figured out the alarm clock on it yet. *I would like to see them add heart monitoring to the device. I am not able to review syncing with my phone because my phone is an older version. This would make a great Christmas gift.

I am not sure what the reviewers are talking about that you have to pay money to use features?? You set this up and that's it! No more money needed ever. This device is just amazing. It is completely accurate. Since I bought my first one almost a year ago I had lost 40 pounds in the first 3 months. It totally makes you want to walk more steps. To challenge yourself. I talked 4 people into buying one and they love it. My one friend also hates it because she said it annoys her very much to know how many steps she is, or is not, taking. She said she is very competitive so this makes her exercise more which annoys her:p. My only BIG comaint is that it is not waterproof. I have washed mine twice:(. The first time it came back to life but only for one week. Fitbit replaced it FOR FREE that time:) They will do that the first time which is awesome!! The second time (now) they offered me a new unit at half price. Which I am gladly taking them up on. Please please please make a waterproof one! If you make a waterproof one then this device would be perfect in every way!!! I'm not into all the cutesy app games that go along with other brands. Besides after that novelty wears off your just have another pedometer. Although what is different about the fitbit is it doesn't count steps it measures movement. Which is amazing! And not sure what the other reviewers are talkin about but mine has never measured steps while driving??? Ever! Usually that is a smart phone pedometer problem. It does not happen with a fitbit. The fitbit also joins up with my fitness pal to help with calorie count and weight measuring. The only thing you ever have to enter into your fitbit app again is weight. Nothing else ever unless you play games with other fitbit friends. When you enter your food into my fitness pal is syncs with fitbit to measure calories, exercise, and weight. Together they are the perfect package. And all are done wirelessly. The only time you need to touch a pic is to charge your fitbit on the tiny charger. It takes like 2 hours. That's it. Love love love it and can't wait for my new unit to arrive so I can get back to stepping! PLEASE MAKE IT WATERPROOF FITBIT!

So far, I haven't even managed to get the Bluetooth to link. At this point I'm going to find a random 9 year old and if they can't link them I declare them garbage. The directions are pictorial and have absolutely no value. I will not make any more JBL purchases after this experience. I don't recommend these!

This was great while I had it. I kept it clipped to my bra and figured it would be pretty safe there. One day it just came out of the holder, never to be found again. It syncs to your iphone5 and your ipad, which is awesome. It's cute, and has nice inspirational sayings, like "Way to go!" "you rock!" etc. If you do get it, just be very careful.
