Great way to track steps during the day.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is a great motivator in getting you to walk more. I was surprised at how many steps I take in a day and my daughter and I share our end of the day walking results. It's small and very easy to use.

Love my FitBit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use my Fitbit everyday to track my activity as well as calories taken in and burned. I love that I can link it to My Fitness Pal. Being able to challenge friends and family that have one is great incentive to keep moving. I love this Fitbit

Lost Easily, Powers Off Unexpectantly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There should be a support group. Lost on the first day and found a week later. Another person at my job site lost his the first week of use at the same time mine was lost. I made a well-fitting leather belt loop bag so it will not be lost, crushed, or washed with clothing. It randomly shuts off without reason. When restarting the power, there is no activities recorded and the time reflects when the power outage occurs. The problem has not happened since I have been using the bag. The step count is accurate about 90% and the program could be useful for those who wish to count their caloric intake.

Lost original, couldn't wait to buy a replacement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had my original Fitbit for over a year and was really upset when I lost it. Loved tracking my daily steps, having the ability to track info on my phone and was able to continue with my original data history on my new replacement without a hitch! I also liked getting $10 off my purchase by buying it online.

Great Motivator!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is actually my second Fit Bit. They are very durable but don't leave in your pocket when you wash your pants. It links with my iPad or desktop and seamlessly links to my nutritional tracking program, "My Net Diary". The combination has motivated my recent 20lb weight loss balancing dietary habits and maintaining a repeatable level of activity. I highly recommend the Aria Scale by Fit Bit which adds the extra monitoring of weight and body fat measurements to the same iPad Apps.

Good, but....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nothing against the Fitbit One, but the assessories could be a lot better. They have good assessories for sports, but would like to see a dressier "every day" band for women. To keep up with steps in a day, that would include being at an office work environment so a different kind of band/bracelet would be nice.

Great for keeping track of steps!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been losing weight for about 2 months, this really helps you track how much more you need to move and overall a great asset to losing weight . My packaging said black but I somehow got the burgundy one

This is the One
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great product. Easy to wear and easy to use. I like the color a lot too. It tracks my sleep which is great because I don't sleep well and it shows how many times you wake up and everything. It also tracks if you go up stairs and has a cute little flower to show how active you have been that day. I would definitely buy this for someone that wants one.

Q: QuestionHow to wear Fitbit OneCan Fitbit One be attached to a wristband and worn on the wrist, or is it just a clip on?
Asked by Rudy.
- A:Answer A fitbit "One" has a flexible clip on the side so you can attach it to your pocket, bra, purse or what ever is with you throughout the day. I put mine on my jeans pocket or pant waistband. My husband puts his on his shirt pocket a friend of mine puts her's on her bra strap. Just don't forget to take it off before you put your clothing in the washing machine. I actually have done this twice now but then it went through the dryer too before I missed it and it still worked fine.( GASP upon realization and then followed by "whew') I wouldn't recommend that but as you know stuff happens. Others have rescued theirs from the washer and then put it in a bowl of rice to absorb the moisture. So far the dryer has worked for me. (only because I knew it wasn't there) . I love my fitbit One, it's a great motivator to try to get in my 10,000 steps a day.

Q: QuestionHow long does the battery last? and how do you change or charge it?
Asked by Geewiz.
- A:Answer I find that the battery lasts about a week. It comes with a special charging cord that has a USB plug on it. However, it does not communicate via USB, only bluetooth.

Q: QuestionFitbit One or Fitbit UltraWhich is the better one to buy? Ultra is £230 more expensive...
Asked by Princess.
- A:Answer They are both similar the only difference I noticed is fitbit ONE is more protected. It has a clip and the ultra jus slides on. I've had both and I go with ONE.

Q: QuestionHow accurate does it count steps?I have a Fitbit Charge HR. The step counter is worthless. Does the One count steps accurately?
Asked by runner.
- A:Answer Yes it does & you can also access the Fitbit One's web page interface to change the length of your stride. Look under the tabs at the Dashboard.

Q: QuestionDoes fit it track results on a I-Pad
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer iPad does track, but you have to buy the app...if you have an iPhone, you can get a free app, and it tracks well.(not sure if Android has app, but I would guess there would be...) If you want to put in meals/calories, or exercise (other than the steps being tracked), you need to use a computer...just log onto your account with Fitbit.com. Very easy.

Q: QuestionIs this waterproof or water resistant?I swim, bike and run 3 times a week and would like to know if it is wearable in the pool. If not, how would it track my activity when I am in the water?
Asked by Jennifer.
- A:Answer Fitbit one is water resistant not waterproof. It should not be worn swimming. It is rain, splash and sweat-proof. Check out fitbit flex. Also listed as water resistant but it says it can be submerged up to 10 meters

Q: QuestionCan the fit bit measure activity on a recumbment bycycle?Because of back pain, I cannot walk long distances. I get most of my exercise on a recumbent bicycle. Can the fitbit be set to measure my activity in this manner?
Asked by Jimbo.
- A:Answer The count would not be accurate. They do have an ability within the app or dashboard to enter alternative methods of except ode based on activity and duration. The only Fitbit product that monitors exercise other than walking that I am aware of is the Surge but it is at the high cost end of fitness I would recommend either working with the another tracker or you can set up an account with Fitbit and try some entries to see how it works for yourself. It does not require a tracker to use the app or software but as with anything they will advertise their products while using their software.
