This fit bit is the perfect size to fit in my bra unnoticed. It syncs with the my fitness pal app and I don't notice it on the nights I want to check my sleep pattern.

I really like this. It's really keeps me motivated to exercise more. It's nice that I can see how many steps I do. It even tracks how many stairs. Actually it goes by 1 flight of stairs which is every 10 feet in elevation gain. So it could be a hill or stairs. When your driving in your car just log the activity as Automobile or light truck and put in the starting time and duration, and then when you sync to your fitbit it will take it off. So it will still show that on the fitbit but it will take it off the app which is what syncs to your account. Personally I turn it off in the car unless i forget. I bought the griffin powerjolt which is a car charger that can take a USB cable so I plug in my fitbit there so I can turn it off. I also have a backup battery too that I can do it. To turn off the fitbit you need to plug it into power then hold down the button for 12 seconds. At night I turn off my fitbit after midnight as it resets back to zero at midnight. If you turn it off before midnight then make sure you sync your fitbit first thing in the morning so it will reset back to zero. I actually don't use the clip I put it in my Levi's 501 jeans in the small pocket which is on the top of the pocket that little small pocket is a great place to put it, but don't forget to take it out before you do your laundry. I personally didn't get the armband I didn't want to have to wear it but if you don't mind wearing it on the wrist and perhaps that would be good for you but I like to have a digital readout like on the fitbit one..

The Fitbit is really easy to set up and to use for basic functions. As you use it, it's really addictive and there are a lot of advanced features that help you assess your activity and whether you are meeting goals. The only negative is that the "dongle" that connects by USB to your computer can break (the plastic cover breaks, the dongle still works but it is unprotected. This is annoying and not a good design. Otherwise, I'm really happy with the purchase and use it daily.

So glad I spent the money on this product. It still amazes me how it knows what it knows... how many steps I've taken, number of flights of stairs climbed, calories burned, sleep patterns, etc. Worth every penny if you're really trying to track your activity levels. Battery life is really long- I only have to charge it maybe once a week & it fully charges pretty quickly.

I found the Fitbit One easy to set up in just a few minutes. I also linked it to my MyFitnessPal account and to the Fitbit app on my iPhone. It even syncs to my Walgreens Steps account and adds points to my rewards card. The Fitbit One is a great motivator, especially when looking at it on my iPhone several times a day. I know how much more activity I need to reach my goals. The Fitbit website keeps historical data and gives you happy kudos when you reach your daily goals. I log my food into MyFitnessPal, but Fitbit syncs to it and keeps track of my exercise and adjusts calories to meet my net goal. I even have been tracking my sleep patterns with improvement. I don't know what I would do to improve this. I've been very pleased with my Fitbit One. (I found a lot of helpful information, reviews, and tips on the Fitbit forum on MyFitnessPal.com.)

I am using MyFitnessPal for quite some time, and heard that this device connects with MyFitnessPal. I wanted to know more about my activities, calories burned and my sleep pattern, so I have this one a shot. Setting it up was extremely easy, it does NOT come with a manual, everything is online available these days. I connected right away with the iPhone app. Only thing I still don't understand, it chowed steps taken before I even started using it. But so what. I clip it to my t-shirt of bra strap and it doe not bother me, it is actually much smaller than I thought. The wristband for the night is a total joke. The material is nice soft, but putting it on is a struggle, because you have to kind of hold it and close the Velcro at the same time, not easy if you have nobody to assist you. But I read the Q & A section on the website, and a lot of users suggest to put it on your ankle, which I will try tonight. The sleep tracker told me this morning that it took me 9 minutes to fall asleep, and that I slept 4 hours and 57 minutes, the details do not show much movement, so I must be a quiet sleeper. I think the step counter is a little off, just by walking through the house this morning doing my daily chores shows I walked over 500 steps already, really? Well, maybe it is correct. I like this little thing, it gives you a little insight about activities. I will set the alarm feature for tonight and see how the vibrating alarm works when I wear it on my ankle.

As one wanting to get more active, this little tool has helped to inspire me. I got this for me, and the charge for my wife for Christmas. I chose this one as after reading other reviews about "added steps" for those who work with their hands which I do. I find this one may not be accurate as well. But, then again what device truelly is if not worn propperly. Even if that is the case it's fun, watching steps go up challenging you to do more. Synching this is easy, and love to monitor my sleep with it. Now...if I could lose the weight, all would be good.

I like how you can wear in your pocket or on your bra! You can keep track of your activity without everyone knowing you are using it! I also like how you can track your water and food. It has been cool to see my sleep patterns as well!

I would definitely recommend the Fitbit One. Easy to use Android app & Website. Also allows you to 'challenge' friends around the world to keep stepping. Unlike the other versions, this One gives me options on where I can wear it. WARNING: Make sure it's securely attached. This is my second Fitbit as my other one fell off without me knowing it. Before purchasing this replacement, I did some research online and found several accessories that provided extra security when attaching the Fitbit One to my clothing or my wrist.

I was hesitant to spend $100.00 on a pedometer but it has been worth every penny and then some. I have had it for three weeks and I sync it with myfitnesspal.com through my iphone and it works great. I forgot to take it off when I went swimming in the Gulf of Mexico (salt water), it was on my hip and I was in chest deep water for over 15 minutes! I was so upset. I put it in a bowl of rice and 24 hours later it worked. I am amazed at the quality of this product. It is also very accurate and has helped me to get better weight loss results with knowing my actual daily activity instead of guessing. Some days I am so active I get to eat more calories than I normally would and I am still losing weight.

Great product for measuring distance, calories, miles, stairs, and time. Only issue I have is can't be used Willie you swim. Not very accurate when used when biking or elliptical.

If you are serious about getting in shape -- walk the extra mile or two -- this little gadget it just the ticket. It is fool proof. If I can figure out how to use this device believe me anyone can. It is on my person 24/7 yes thats correct -- it even monitors your sleep. Do yourself a favor and get one or ask Santa for one or get one for Santa (He needs to loose a few pounds).

    Amazing Little Gadget

This is an awesome little toy, with purchase you get access to the Fitbit health site and can enter your daily food intake, calories and nutritional information are all calculated for you. You can track sleep patterns, steps/stairs and all activities. Memory will hold for several days so if you do not have access to upload it will sync as soon as you get internet access. You can add as many people as you want as friends and you can track each others success, so...you can compete from any distance. My niece in another state can see what I have done and she tries to out do me. It's just a great tool and a lot of fun.
