Reviewed many different tracking devices, and I must say that the Fitbit is the best. Easy to use, and free tracking web site to use!

This is the best activity tracker out there. It clips on tight so you won't lose it and it is extremely accurate :-)

Little Device Gets A Lot of Data

I bought the FitBit One because my health insurance offers an incentive for tracking our activity. I haven't used it too much so far--only to cover steps & sleep, although I'm not sure how it measures my sleep status. I bought the burgundy because, well, it's not black. It took some reading of the PDF manual (it doesn't come with a paper manual) to learn about how to track sleep, as well as what all the symbols mean, like the flower. Once you learn it, though, it's simple to use. It'd be nice if the device itself would tell you when it needs a charge; you have to login to your FitBit page before it can tell you if the battery is low.

Fitbit is lots of fun to use. Plus, I have dealt with customer service twice, and they have been excellent.

I purchased this FitBit One so I could just see what my activity level is and try to increase it. Not currently looking to lose weight but just want to stay healthy. It is as simple as simple can be. I clip it in my pocket and that is it. The sleep tracker is a neat feature but not 100% sure how accurate it is or how you can fix your sleep issues even if it does point them out. I recommend this product if you want to see your activity level

This is my second Fitbit to buy. I upgraded to the Fitbit One from the Fitbit Ultra. It inspires to hit my goals. I like to wear it on my pants, so sometimes falls off. I've come close to losing it a lot. I wish it was more secure. Also it doesn't sync with most Droids which is unfortunate, because I have to sync it through my computer. Otherwise it is fantastic. It is a real inspiration and makes me hit my fitness goals.

I've been serious about my fitness for some time now and my wife bought this for me as a birthday gift. Her intentions were good but.... I returned it to the store after trying it for one day. The data yielded from this device won't help anyone serious about fitness and training. Here's what I found: 1) It does connect wirelessly but not though your wireless router. It's blue tooth so if you want this thing to sync up constantly you'll have to give up a USB port on your computer. 2) It counts steps. I use a recumbent bike combined with free weights for interval training 3 days a week and aerobic interval training on the bike on the off days. There is no provision for the FitBit to track your work out on a bike. There is a section on-line for cycle exercise but you have to key in the data. 3) I don't do stairs but if I did, what is this really telling me? And, according to the display, I took 42 steps taking it out of the box and setting it on the computer table. That went up to 85 steps once it was in sync! 4) The sleep tracker is nothing more than a stop watch that you have to start before you go to sleep and remember to stop when you wake up. Again, do I really need this? 5) IT COST $100 !!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me? My employer gives out pedometers to everyone one who wants one during our yearly fitness drive every year. They cost about $7. Overall, you get very little bang for the buck from the FitBit One. It's a gimmicky little gizmo that won't really help anyone get fit and it's way over priced. Fitness is now and always has been about diet and exercise. The hi-tech world is trying to collide with the fitness world but in this case, it doesn't work. For $30 more you could purchase a barbell set. That would be a better use of your money.

I started using the FB One in 2013. with the tool and website I have lost over 30 lbs in less than 5 months. No crazy diets just good old fashioned eating right and frequent exercise. Many groups to join and the site is free.

The strap sucks which comes with this one. Its of a cheap quality. Your device will start falling from it after a month use. We need a good quality wrist band.

Great for a guide line on my activity level.

This is a great tool to keep you motivated to keep moving; however, it is not that accurate. It tends to calculate driving time as steps taken and floors climbed. Something that you would want to subtract if you are keeping track of your food cal and how much you should eat in a day.

It's definitely cool to see how many calories you've burn, the steps you've taken, and so on. I enjoy it but I'm afraid I'd loose it. It's so small that I'm always feeling it to see if it's still attached to my waist. The rubber silicone had a decent grip so it should be ok for now. Good buy if you're a looking for extra motivation and.

    Better than the fitbit flex

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I had the fitbit flex and find this to be better. Not having this on your wrist would also lead to a more accurate count. Also, his tells time, as well as comes with the wrist band to still take advantage of the sleep monitoring. If you are in the market for a tracker, I would recommend this over the ones that you wear on your wrist.

After waiting for sync ability for android it was worth it. I love my fitbit. It doesn't get in my way and I haven't lost it yet. And Fitbit customer service is excellent. I broke the clip 2 months ago and they replaced it free of charge. Glad I bought one and I suggest everyone else get one also.

I've had 2 Charges, each of which broke down within a year. Was given an Alta as a replacement, but it didn't keep track of stairs. Switched to the One, and it's perfect for me. No more extra wrist wear, tracks all that I want. so far the best model I've had
