I bought this for my hubby for Christmas and he loves it! Wears it or keeps it in his pocket 24/7. He does not wear a watch or bracelet for work purposes, so this FitBit is perfect for him because he can slip it in his pocket or clip it on his belt. He is even more active now just so he can see how many steps he has taken. He used to use an app on his iPhone but this is more accurate because he always has it on. Best present ever!

This is actually my second Fitbit One -- my old one utterly died after substantially more than two years of daily use, and more than a dozen washings in the washing machine. Before buying another one to replace it, I investigated all of the other Fitbit products, and it just seemed that people where whining about one thing or another. The Fitbit One just plain works, and works well. I'm very happy to keep on going with a new one.

The fitbit was easy to set up online, gives real-time feedback, week + battery life, it is so small and unobtrusive, it is easy to forget that you are wearing it.

I am a middle aged woman beginning to get healthy. Fitbit One allows me to track many things, including number of steps and number of stairs climbed per day. I also get a weekly report that shows me these stats for the week. It is fun to compete against myself and to try to do better each day. I also like the fact that I can wear the FitBit in places which cannot be seen - much more discreet than the bracelet which is appealing to me.

I purchased this one after using the HR for over 6 months. wanted something to use that didn't have to stay on my wrist. This one fits the bill. it is easy to use, performs with almost the same functions as the HR and I can wear it on my clothes, under my clothes, attached to my sock or shoe as well as to sleep with the included wrist holder for it. simple, easy, frustration free. what more can you ask for from Fitbit!!

The tracker seems very accurate in measuring steps; not quite perfect when it comes to stairs. Great online interface allows you to personalize the Fitbit tracker & keep tabs on your calories, fluids, sleep & additional activitIes. One point of concern is the silicone clip & how well it will hold up over time. So far, so good - 6 weeks into use. All that being said, I wear my Fitbit everyday & have purchased 2 more as gifts for others.

This Fitbit is a great alternative to the traditional one that is worn on the wrist. My daughter was horribly allergic to the wrist-worn Fitbit so I bought her this one and it has worked like a charm. I love how excited she gets to see if she can beat her goals each day. I highly recommend this Fitbit, it is easy to use and can be used discreetly.

I absolutely love my new Fitbit! It records steps per day, calories burned, flights of stairs climbed and miles walked. It is great for setting goals and seeing how close you come to meeting them. It is a great device to have when being an active Weight Watchers participant, which I am. After hearing me rave about this device so much, two more family members have made recent purchases of Fitbits. Now we can challenge each other!

Love this product. It is a fast and easy set up. It tracks stairs in addition to steps. I love the fact that is small and easily hidden. You can set reminders to let you know if you have been to sedentary. Having owned the Up by Jawbone I absolutely find this product to be the one I grab and use.

In an age of $7.00 pedometers, is this worth $100.00? It is for me! It gives a good feel for my activity level. It counts bumps on the way to work as steps, but at least it is consistent. Once set up, you don't have to fiddle with it at all. It syncs to my laptop whenever I'm close and I can get my charts from my smart phone. Nothing manual. It resets itself at midnight (I assume), so there's no buttons to push unless I want instant info. The sleep monitor shows awake times and active times, which are probably awake times when I'm not moving much. I need to work on sleeping better. The alarm is really cool. I keep another alarm set just in case, but once this wakes me up I can turn the other alarm off and not disturb my wife. The belt clip is so-so, so I put it in my pocket. It's small enough that I don't even notice it. Highly recommended for someone who can afford $100 on a gizmo.

This is a cool little gadget! I've been tracking my activity and sleep for almost a month and have been surprised at the results (my sleep efficiency is better than I thought although I'm not as active as I'd hoped). I find that it motivates me to keep moving as I find myself "competing" against my previous weeks/days. It has also made me aware of empty calories I consume (i.e. my all-day intake of General Foods French Vanilla Café, which I have whittled down to one large cup/day...sorry Kraft!) and it's helped me increase my water intake <blech> from 2-3 glasses to a target of 100+ oz/day. Bottom line, it's made me more aware which, in turn, makes a healthier me! It syncs readily with my MacBook and my Galaxy S3 'droid phone. I also use the Map My Walk/Ride apps with it. BTW, being a woman, I don't find that I forget to remove it prior to washing clothes et al. Nor have I had any problems with it slipping out of the wrist band during sleep (it's surprisingly comfortable as I was afraid it would be bothersome for me).

I have been using my Fitbit for about two months and it is the best decision I have made for my health. The simple fact of being aware of your physical activity and what you are putting into your body gave me a whole new perspective in regards to my health. Just keep the tracker with you at all times and use the Fitbit website or the mobile app to enter what you eat and drink. It is very easy to use and cannot recommend it enough.

The Fitbit One is more accurate at counting steps than the wrist types. User interface is simple. The App is very useful in tracking fitness activities.

This is so easy to clib on. I mostly slide it on to my bra cub and sometimes on my waistband. It must be pretty durable because I actually forgot to take it off my bra and it went through the wash cycle. It still works great! I opted for this style because the wristband style bothered me. I also think they look like a child's bracelet. This is discreet so nobody even knows you are wearing it. Buy this style; you won't regret it!

I like the fitbit app better than jawbone and this little guy definitely tracks steps more accurately than the jawbone up 24 (i.e. it's not tracking while I'm driving!). The sleep tracking element could use some work. The one thing that I did like from the jawbone up 24 over this fitbit is that the vibrating alarm would track your deep sleep and would go off within 20 minutes of the set time when you're in a lighter sleep. The fitbit doesn't do that.

I starte3d using my fitbit while I worked at Boston College. I joined a team and we had fun. Then I retired but I have kept using my Fitbit to keep me on track. Now my husband is on sabbatical and has started walking. I decided a Fitbit might give him some incentive since he's seen me using mine. We set it up this morning and now he's on his way.
