Fitbit Fanatic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first I questioned its accuracy but I started manually counting and then checked if it was in sync with me... it was. It is a bit bulky and not feminine but I will just get a sleeker one later. I have learned to wear the Fitbit on my other wrist at night to track my sleep and to give the wrist I wear it on for tracking steps a breather.

No band replacement
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read reviews before I purchased, and overall it was only as good as "just ok." The heart rate function didn't seem very accurate, or took a bit of time to catch up to any changes. The step counter was pretty good, as was the battery life (about 5 days, depending on usage). The GPS function would take forever to calibrate, so I decided not to use it at all. The absolute best feature was being able to get text notifications and the ability to read texts without having to pull my phone out of my pocket. About 9 months into it, the band cracked on the underside where the screws are. That wasn't really a big deal, but sweat and other grime would get in it and under the band. Soapy water was an easy fix for the grime, but still a nuisance. Shortly after 1 year, the end of the warranty, the band on the top near the face started to peel. Other than being cosmetic, it wasn't really a big deal, but then all at once the peeling spread. Soon after, the whole band started to separate from everything else. I looked around for a replacement band, but the only thing I could find was talk about Fitbit's warranty. Of course, that didn't apply to me since my Surge was out of warranty, but considering there are forums and discussion groups out there for the Surge's band, I must not be the only one with band issues. I liked the surge while I was able to wear it, but at the time I spent $250 for a not-that-smart smartwatch/pedometer only to retire it shortly after 1 year. For the shoddy GPS function and no replacement bands I take 3 stars. Considering what I paid for it, and how much an Apple Watch is now, I'd sooner go for an Apple Watch than another Surge.

Surge
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For what it's worth it does a great job. I wish it had a 2nd hand like the Charge & Charge HR. I has modes for different workouts so that is easy to monitor. It is extremely sensitive so it picks up the slightest move. I have had only one issue with it and had to reset it once. It started having these vertical bands going through the face of the watch. I reset it and it was gone. I also have the Aria scale & they sync'd very well together. I love that Best Buy has for the Elite members a 45 day return policy and offers an extra 2 year replacement if it breaks. I did a lot of research on these and heard the issues people were having with these. Otherwise it is a good product .

Comfortable tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was between this and the Moto 360. Some of the features that swaye me to the Surge: battery life greater than a day, already have Fitbit profile, comfort when exercising. The heart rate monitor is not as bad as people make it out to be. I have a pulsesox machine and the rate was within a beat or two. It really depends on wearing it at the correct position. A few features missing: the ability to have a notification as you walk or hike. Currently it is only on run mode. Another would be better watch and tracking faces. I've used the gps when hiking and running. Compared to the iPhone Endomondo, it is close. Overall, it is a nice watch worth the purchase.

Get up and move
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Fitbit Surge really gets me up and going! I like the accountability that it provides and being able to see all of my stats at a glance. The heart rate and GPS are my two favorite features. No chance of cheating myself out of a good workout with this on my arm!

Fitbit Surge--great features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love this watch and the features. It tracks sleep, heart rate, runs, elliptical, weightlifting and walks. Gps feature for running outside connects quickly. It synchs with iPhone app and you can easily post to social networks to share your workouts.

Love my Fitbit Charge HR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used a Fitbit Flex for a year and a half and then it went ker-plop. I upgraded to the Charge HR and love it. It has many features, but my favorites are the convenience of a watch, instantly seeing how many steps I have taken, and the heart rate monitor. I have only had this about 2 months, but have not had ANY problems with it.

Great Watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband has really enjoyed this watch, it tracks his laps, steps and heart rate. The only problem is that we haven't been able to synchronize it to the cell phone (at least not yet)

Great for exercising
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this Fitbit. It has so many awesome futures and you can use it to customize your workouts. It also has gps to track running outside. The only con is that it's too big for my wrist.

Great fitness band
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this fitness band! My SIL has one and I checked hers out before I made my purchase. She had all positive things to say. It keeps track of your sleep and how many steps you take throughout the day. I love the exercise portion of the band. It tracks your pace and the route you do. I would highly recommend the splurge!!!

A nearly perfect activity tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My one and only complaint is that the GPS really drains the battery fast. The heart rate is spot on, the device could be a bit less clunky with rounded edges, but it works well.

Great product but replacement bands would make
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So. I bought this and instantly loved it. Had it for over a month. Accurate but the ONLY complaint against this super watch is the bands aren't replaceable. Had a rash from the friction of the band. Had it 2 finger tight and same result. Mole skin would be recommended to place on the inner bands from the dreaded band rash. Returned for a smart watch that has the same functions AND has a leather band. Will return to Fitbit Surge if they update the watch to a leather removable band. For the price they should.

Great watch and fitness activity tracker!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to read face. Can set up the activity tracker for those activities you enjoy. Easy to use the tracker for running; very logical and requires minimal instructions. Great summary data provides all the information you need. A must have for Fitbit users!

Good for people who exercise!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Heart rate monitor and silent alarm are the best. May be overkill for a standard user, but if you want to track different types of workouts, sleep habits and where you were geographically, this is a necessity. Great pair with Fitbit Aria Scale.

Great Watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I switched from the nike gps to the fitbit surge and absolutely love it. The nike watch only tracked your walks and runs when outside due to the gps. This fitbit tracks my runs and all my steps throughout the day. It also has features to set for different activities to keep up with the number of calories burned.

Its Ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the original fitbit and was upgrading. It still has the problem the very first fitbit had with giving you steps when you in a car driving. Turns, bumps in the road and sometimes stops are counted as steps. That is my main complaint and if you are not riding in a car, bus, etc alot then these will work out for you. Surge is comfortable to wear. Being female it is not too bulky. it does look like some kind of "device" on your wrist and cannot pass for an watch. Love the wireless sync with android. wish there were more watch faces. battery lasted without GPS on about 4.5 days. quite often, phone and text notifications quit working for some unknown reason. rebooting surge usually fixes it. I can only recommend this for real sports/activity minded people. For average fitness tracking statistics like only concerned with steps, calories burned and being able to see heart rate, this is overkill and high price does not justify...just get the charge hr. It does work as advertised. Just overkill for my needs and until fitbit comes up with a way to being in a moving vehicle without it counting steps or a way to ignore them...none of these trackers are going to be accurate.

Great health and fitness watch and app with extras
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Fitbit Surge watch last month and it has not disappointed. The watch is stylish and fits smoothly over the wrist. It works great and the app is amazing! I've enjoyed it so far tracking steps, miles, sleep and weight. The heart beat measurement is a plus. The alerts for incoming calls, as well as ability to receive texts is great. I've only tapped into a small portion of what the Surge can do.

Good but slightly overpriced
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I give the Fitbit Surge 4 stars because it was a gift. Had I paid for this myself I don't think I would be as generous. It is a great fitness tracker with some smartwatch capabilities. It is NOT a smartwatch. The Fitbit Charge HR is $100 cheaper and you get most of the functions of the surge. I like the text and call notifications I get from the surge and the fact that it looks like a watch and not just a tracker. I still really like the surge but I think it sits in the middle of the 2 categories (smartwatch and fitness tracker). The added functions in my opinion are not worth the $100 extra.

Just okay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first this was a wow watch but after several months n a replacement it's not a great watch for the price, strap very thin n flimsy, paper thin coating tears easy. Syncing is a constant struggle of trouble shooting on the computer. It tracks nicely and has good features. If battery drains in less then a day or a day check ur setting turn everything off for battery to last several days.

Great Fitness Buddy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this item. It has GPS so I can track where I go if it's a hike, bike, run, etc. It has options for workouts and so much more. I love seeing how many steps I take each day and calories I burn. It helps me stay focused on trying to get as much in the day I can. Absolutely love the item..
