Investing in the Fitbit surge was my first step into wellness. As a former colleague of mine would say, "what gets measured, gets improved!" This truly kept me in check and I find myself walking more, parking further, climbing more stairs, etc.

This is my third Fitbit with upgraded heart rate and tracking functions. I love that it hooks with a metal buckle I stead of the button. I don't like that it is not water proof so I have to make sure I remove it..

The FitBit Surge is a great way to keep in shape. I've had mine for 2 months now and I always feel the need to keep moving to make my step count for the day. I also love the ability to see text previews and control my music via Bluetooth. The only issue I have is with the the heart rate tracker. I was in the hospital recently and the nurse and I had a challenge with an EKG. My FitBit was slower by 10bpm, not a big issue, but one to note.

A little difficult to due updates at first and would not charge. After all the updates were complete the unit started to charge and work as it should be. No issues with the unit and works great. discharges battery faster when on GPS mode so make sure it is fully charged when going on run or bike ride. Unit does all that it claims and works great.

Great item. I bought this to do two things. One is the obvious, keep tracking of my fitness. Two was to use to see how much I was running while refereeing soccer matches. I typically select free run and use that as one of my two timers to keep track of the match time. I love being able to check my running patterns later by checking the GPS maps. Functionality is simple to learn and use. I used to rely on my phone's fitness tracking but I find this much more accurate than the phone tracking. The only downside has been having a watch tan again after years of never wearing a watch.

Loved the features and ability to swipe from time to steps to heart rate. Easy to read face but the face was much too bulky for my wrist.

This is a good fitness watch. It takes your heart rate, steps taken, sleep patterns and as added bonus you can control your music with it.

Love my Surge. Only complaint is that I need to charge the battery more often than the literature states. Enjoy the GPS function for running and HR monitor.

I compared the Fit Bit Surge with the Microsoft Band and here is what I found. The Battery on the Fitbit lasts 5-7 days, the MS Band only lasts 3 days if your lucky. The MS Band has more options such as: UV Index, Weather, Starbucks pay, Color Screen and a few others

I bought the surge to track my miles running. I purchased the warrentee from Best Buy. Good that I did. The first two had to be returned due to moisture seeping inside. Probably since I sweat so much while running. After those two were exchanged without any hassle, I am completely satisfied. Unit works great, and I wear it all the time.

The Fitbit Surge is easy to set up and use. It tracks all my exercise activities including distance covered while walking my dog even though my arms may not be swinging in a normal stride. I can also used it to track the distance and speed of my bike rides.

I love my new Fit Bit. It has everything I want and need and then some. The battery stays charged 3 to 4 days before needing a charge and only takes a few hours to recharge. It keeps track of all my exercises and let's me know when I get a call or text message.

    Great Fitness Watch for Runners

Great fitness watch for runners. Easy setup out of the box. Heart rate tracking and GPS work great during exercise and keep me on track for my goals. Checked GPS accuracy against bike odometer and they matched better than expected. Step tracking is less sensitive to normal arm movements such as driving than my previous Fitbit Flex making it a great tool for actually monitoring my steps and not how much I can wave my arms around. Battery drains kinda quick when GPS and Heart Rate are on for an hour or so during my longer runs, but charging is easy and fairly quick.
