very accurate & works nicely with its own & other app

This watch really helps me pay attention to what I need to do, especially the walking distance.

This is my husbands third watch!! Yes he loves it and it stands up to how rough his job is too but the first one died after a year and the second after about 7 months. They are known to have glitches so just make it easier on yourself and get the Best Buy warranty. Super easy to just walk in and get a replacement. Other than the glitches, the watch looks great and does everything my husband wants and needs.

The surge is a great unit.I wish they put a days date with the time display ..Also the band is a little bulky to be wearing at night while sleeping to track your sleep pattern..

I dont have any experience with any other brand but based on the reputation and price, I expected more out of the Fitbit. Heart Rate monitor is only accurate when I am resting. During workouts it misses every third beat or more or it just doesn't recognize my pulse at all. The pedometer is very inaccurate. It usually measures 1/2 to 1 mile less than the treadmill or elliptical. It also underestimates steps when walking outside. If the errors are consistent, I can still use it as a reference but I expected more.

I upgraded from the flex to the Surge. Absolutely loved my flex but wanted something that brought a little more to the table. Finally found the time to purchase a Surge and havent looked back. HR tracking is right on par with what the machines at the gym readout as well. Its comfortable, and in my opinion not too bulky.

Easy to set up. Easy to use. Get instant read outs.

Watch keeps great track of my runs and heart rate.

This watch is great for monitoring different fitness aspects of your life including challenges with your friends if you download the app. If you are competitive then you will take a liking to those challenges. I have not used this watch to its full potential yet but I am currently very happy with this experience.

I'm getting used to this Surge, I initially started out with the Blaze because of the look and color screen. I chose this one because I like that it doesn't break apart like the Blaze. My reason for the 4 stars is because I honestly don't like the screen, it would be perfect if this watch had the Blaze screen possibilities.

Works like advertised Battery is 3days at most!!!!

1. The fit is better than I expected. It is actually very comfortable. I thought wearing a watch would be annoying, but it hasn't been at all. 2. The data on the watch (Steps, BPM, Calories, Distance) really keep you aware of how much or how little exercise you've done. It definitely helps push me to do more. 3. The GPS feature is fantastic...I love data like average pace, distance, steps, average BPM, etc. And the map views on the website are great too. 4. The user experience from the watch, to the app, to the website are very well done.

The Fitbit Surge is a great motivator. It looks good and is so lightweight it's easy to wear all the time. I needed motivation to get up and start walking and this has really worked. Having it on my arm is a constant reminder that I need to get outside and take my daily walk. I would recommend it for everyone.

My bf who is fickle about spending money on anything decided to buy one after I asked for one early for Christmas. So we went out and bought two. He absolutely does not regret the purchase, seeing as we both have decided to take control of our health. The Surge has helped to provide us both with a kick start.

I wear this every day and every night. It does a very good job tracking my steps and exercise and is fairly accurate at tracking my sleep. The app for Android also works very well.

The watch is nice and has lots of features but is only offered with small or large bands unless you order directly from fitbit.

The features are great but the gps is constantly losing signal in cycle mode. It ruins my stats. The overall features are great but I bought it for the cycling mode.

Wife bought this to track her exercise, and havent been disapointed. If there is one downside to this it is the monitor on the back, it can start to pinch if mov ed wrong.

Love the watch.electronics work great. Says not waterproof but i swim with it and took it on several tough mudders. The band keeps breaking. Understand tough mudder breaking the band when i fell, but i had one that the plastic peeled back on it. Have protection plan and best buy replaced it no problem each time. Well worth 50 bucks. Brought beoken dirty one back and got a new one no questions.
