Customers admire the Zip Wireless Activity Tracker's ease of use, small size, and accurate step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate its motivational features and find it reasonably priced. However, some users point to inconsistent battery life and a display that can be difficult to read as drawbacks. The limited feature set compared to more expensive models is also a recurring concern.

I am not very satisfied with this Fitbit. It replaces my lost when that was very dependable and worked great. This one is off on the time and is hard to see. It sometimes does not turn on when tapped.

This item is way to complicated and was sold to me as a simple device and a 2 for 1 kind of price. I paid way too much especially since I have never been able to use it.

I bought this as a gift for a friend. She said it is not accurate and the trackers that you wear on your wrist are better.

I do not recommend this. It fell off my pants within 2 weeks of wearing it and I could not find any customer service number for fit bit.

This product was OK to give you a rough estimate but I found it would add points just sitting on the table

This is the basic Fitbit pedometer. It only tracks steps, from which it then calculates miles and calories. The App allows you to input Weight, % Body Fat, Meals & Snacks, and Activities other than walking/running. You will need to input nutritional info for what you eat in order to get a daily calorie intake total. You also need to be able to calculate calories burned during other Activities (I use a watch that calculates calories based on heart rate, age & gender). This is an affordable way to set goals and track your progress. I would recommend this if you are committed to a long term fitness lifestyle.

Seems like it is very accurate. Really keeps me motivated and very easy to use. I have had it since October. Still have the first battery. I had the Biggest Loser SlimCoach first and it needed charged all the time, wouldn't even keep a charge for 10 hours!! Use my Fitbit every day from the time I wake up until the time I go to bed. Really love my Fitbit Zip :) !!

Good as a step tracker for walkers

I used zip tracker diligently from date of purchase in Sept. 2014 to Jan 2015. My goal was to walk 10,000 steps/day. It was good for that purpose. It also keeps track of time and calories burned. Instructions are available at the Fitbit website however they do not display properly because of overlapping of graphics and text. Also, they are not very accurately written for the zip model. If you sync the zip to your pc, like I did, the Fitbit dashboard displays nicely and I found it motivating. Another drawback is I have to tap the zip model several times, every time I want to check my progress with steps taken. This model could be improved by displaying the steps automatically or intuitively since that is what I am using it for.

Broke with the first bump

I was loving this tracker. It seemed very accurate, easy to use and simple to wear. It is very tiny and can hide nicely on any belt or waistband. The clip was very sturdy. Sadly the first time the clip fell off my pants the tracker broke - now useless. I hate warranty packages but I would highly recommend it for this item, especially if you hope it will last more than 2 months. And the USB that hooks into the computer broke when I accidently bumped the edge of the computer on the desk. CHEAP componets. I much as I thing the quality is poor I am tempted to purchase another one. good luck.

A mini motivator

I bought the fitbit after doing a little research online and after deciding that I needed to become more motivated to exercise. I have been amazed at how much my fitbit keeps me on track. After setting it up online and starting to track my progress I now make sure that I am walking between 7500-10000 steps a day and also, with the integrated fitbit website, tracking calories and other activities.
This is an amazing product at a great price. I am passing this one on a member of my household when the Fitbit One becomes available in November.

I wore out my original fitbit and decided to try the zip. I only kept it for a week. If you can't afford the higher end models, I suggest getting this but if you can, pay the difference and get the better model.
Pro's: The price is very reasonable.
It's designed to do pretty much most of what the other models do. Cool colors to pick from.
Cons: It was tedious going from one screen to the next to view your stats. It was supposed to take a tap but I was afraid of breaking it because it was taking several attempts to get to just the next screen.
There was no back light that I could find to view in the dark.
I didn't find it as comfortable to wear on my bra as I had the previous model that I had.
I didn't like that it didn't have a rechargeable battery.

We bought the 2 pack for a great price. My husband and I use them and can challenge each other to help stay motivated. I clip it on in the morning and don't even know it's there until I check my step and calorie count later in the day. Easy to use and works great with the free app.

I absolutely love this device. I had been using a cheap (under $10.00) pedometer. This is so much more accurate, and has so many features, that I am never without it. Also, it has been a great motivator, getting me to go out and walk every time I can squeeze in a few steps. If I lost it, I would get another as quickly as I could.

I bought this as a gift for my friend. She loves it because it gets the job done in helping her meet her fitness goals. She doesn't need all the bells and whistles that other activity trackers give. The basic functions of this Fitbit is enough and with its price, I really cannot complain. I am tempted to get one for myself, too.
