Customers are saying

Customers admire the Zip Wireless Activity Tracker's ease of use, small size, and accurate step tracking capabilities. Many appreciate its motivational features and find it reasonably priced. However, some users point to inconsistent battery life and a display that can be difficult to read as drawbacks. The limited feature set compared to more expensive models is also a recurring concern.

I had my Fitbit Zip for a whole 4 days... I wore it everyday to work and when I worked out. On the fourth day, at work and in my office, I discovered that the Fitbit Zip was missing. The holder was still on my belt. Apparently it fell off when I was walking around in my company's headquarter. There goes $50... My advise to those of you who are thinking of purchasing a Fitbit Zip, clip it to your pocket and facing inwards. That way if, the Zip falls out of the holder, at least you will still find it in your pocket. Otherwise, it works well.

This item is a nice small size, and is not noticed all day. It automatically transmits the step count to my iPhone and computer every day. It is nice to have the data recorded and easily reviewable. The software was easy to install on the computer, and the iPhone app is easy to review. Having this product has made me more aware of what it takes to reach 10,000 steps a day.

This is my second Fitbit Zip! I lost my first one on a cruise and couldn't wait to get back home so I could buy another one!! One of the best features is that it is battery operated so you don't have to worry about charging it every week! I clip it on as soon as I get up each day and it gives me the incentive to get moving and try to beat my step record from the day before! Thanks Fitbit for making such an economical and accurate tracker!!

What I love about my Fitbit is that I just put it on and it does the rest. I use it everyday, even on days I don`t have time to walk or exercise and I still can see how many steps I walked, how many calories I burned and how far I walked. And another thing that`s great about my Fitbit is that it resets itself and I start over with a new program everyday. It`s easy to set up on the computer and you can see your progress every day. I HIGHLY recommend the Fitbit.

Great information by converting activity to steps. Easy to set goals and share information with friends or physician. Ability to count calories used and track calories for food eaten. Love it!

I don't need to track my sleep (knowing I am not sleeping well will probably make me more stressed out and sleep worse). I just want to track my activity and I don't want to have to worry about connecting the thing to a USB charger. Clip it on your belt / pants and go. Connects to phone or PC via BT or wireless and you can access the fitbit app from any PC / phone / table. Don't overspend for features you don't need. This thing just works!

Prefer this to a wrist band - accurate and easy to clip or store in a pocket. Syncs well with fitbit app on phone and fitbit.com on pc.

This little clip-on Fitbit fits nicely on the waist of my paints with no discomfort and it is not bulking (is very tiny), yet the display is easy to read. It gives me what I want (counts steps, miles, & calories) with no fuss. I do not need to set it (not even initially). It is cheaper than the wrist ones and it eliminates the extra work to start or reset it. It restarts every day from 0 automatically. Reviews on the long thin one said the casing breaks, but not this one (not even with the hiking pack hitting it).

Fitbits basic model is the Zip. It counts steps and calculates your distance and calories burned. Easy to use, without all the other bells and whistles of their more expensive models. You still get all of the abilities of the Fitbit App. which for me is a major part of the Fitbit experience. If you don't like wearing an activity tracker on your wrist and want the basics, you can't go wrong with the Zip.

Tracks steps, miles, active minutes and calories. I would just like to see something that has a GPS on it to track specific distances and not just a cumulative distance at the end of the day. However, this would be more expensive and for the price that you pay the features that come with it are great. It has given me motivation to be more active or to have one last 30 minute workout at the end of a night to reach one of the goals already set.

I purchased this pack for my wife and I. She has an android phone and I have an iphone. The only bad thing for her is that she can't sync hers to her account on the fly. She has to be near her laptop with the USB adapter attached for it to sync. The fitbit app will not sync with android phones. On the other hand the experience with my phone is fantastic. The app is fun and easy to use and all i have to do is "wake" my fitbit up and open the app on my phone... all synced up. It's a lot more fun when you add friends to your fitbit account and start competing for how many steps and distance traveled! I even find myself purposely taking longer ways and walking more because I am either near my goal or I want to beat someone else with the daily/weekly step count. Great product!

We like to follow the 10,000 steps a day plan so both my wive and I wear the Fitbit Zip on our belts. Works as advertised. Syncs with our iPhones so is easy to use. Keeps an accurate count. It does help our motivation because it keeps our step talent current and easily available.

Had to replace the removable battery almost every two weeks with the unit we purchased. We had this connected to an iPhone 6 and the app from FitBit wouldn't syn correctly after a month or so of usage. The pro's would be the size of the device relative to more expensive wrist units. We ended up also purchasing the FitBit HR and have been more pleased with that device. The HR hasn't had any syncing issues with the phone unlike this unit. I would pay up for the HR just my two cents.

It does exactly what it says... Counts your steps. Might not be the most accurate but it seems to be pretty close. Can't ask for much more for the price.
