this is a great film. 80's nostalgia in crisp quality and sound. The story is full, has great action, romance, drama, and tragedy. It is a space opera. Laced with a soundtrack from Queen I don't see how anyone could deny this. The special features are great too. I loved the one where you see the serial of the original Flash gordon series from the early 1900's. I wish they put all 13 parts to that series with the blu ray, not sure why they didn't but that would have been awesome.

OK, so you're not going to buy this because you're looking for great action or an unpredictable plot but, it is a fun movie. I remember watching this as a kid and being enthralled by the premise without even knowing that it was more or less a remake of the 1930's series. It's a fun movie with a soundtrack bolstered by Queen. If you're a product of the late '70s or early 80's this will bring you back to your childhood. Don't be embarrased, just buy it.

I flat out love this movie. I always have for some reason. I was so stoked when this came out on dvd. Everyone needs a copy of this movie. Corny still too this day but very enjoyable!!!

This is a fun flashback in time. I got it for my birthday. The kids got a lot of laughs from it. Queen does the music, special effects from original star wars time frame. I can promise the music will stick in your head for days.

The kind of movie that doesn't exist anymore. Over the top, goofy, but still entertaining as hell.

One of my favorite bad movies. Love to watch it with friends. Great Blu-ray release.

If you like this movie, then you know it and you want the blu-ray. However, it would be nice to give the fans something more than just a disc in a case. Howabout the DVD and Digital Copy? I honestly felt that I got more with the DVD version than this!

This movie is not for everyone. Its pretty darned goofy. I would recommend it only for lovers of campy films.

When I watched this movie when I was a teenager, I always thought it was enjoyable and cheesy. Now that I am an adult, I find it cheesy and boring. The acting and special effects are just horrible....
