This was a fun purchase, I stuck with the standard 4k version and was pleased with the extras it came with and the overall quality. The special edition is great for die hard fans but I think this version is a sweet spot for casual viewers.

Packaging is very cool, mini movie poster is very good quality. Info booklet was a good read. The movie itself is visually stunning. As good as it gets definitely a worth the upgrade from standard blu ray. Very happy with this purchase.

Though it was released in 1980 , it has that 70’s softness that’s so prevalent in movies from that era. This isn’t a bad thing, just expect it. The movie actually looks great. DTS: sound , don’t expect anything booming with this one.

Arrow always delivers a high quality product. This release of Flash Gordon is no exception. The 4K looks great with amazing pops of color throughout. I’ve truly never seen this movie look better. 5.1 was also a nice touch

One do my favorite movies growing up, and it’s never looked better than this Arrow Video 4K restoration. I’ve only recently made the jump to a 4K tv and Blu-ray player, and I can’t see why I’d want to watch anything less.

I thought this movie would be great in 4k and it was, lots of colors ,image is almost too clear you can see the art and stage but not enough to pull you out of the movie. Iam not a fan of film grain and its not bad here,

1980’s sci fi / fantasy classic . I purchased it for an older family member who is s big fan of the movie . He couldn't believe his eyes while viewing it on his 4K tv. Incredible upgrade in picture and sound quality.

One of my favorite movies as a kid and was excited to share it with my grandson. Great picture and good sound. Detail is so incredible it presents artifacts of the technology used for the special affects.

Why not, movies should be fun and funny and silly at times and this is a classic piece of campy. It was the flash in the pan (yes pun intended) It played up all the original Flash Gordon comics and rolled it into a comic strip movie.. perfect for a night of flash back movies (yes the puns just keep coming)

OK, I'm older, but this movie is a classic...!!! I really wish they would have made a trilogy or something,,,,, Yeah, it is somewhat Cheesy looking back, but I always love the cinematography and of course the soundtrack....!!!!

" A MUST HAVE! " for your steelbook collections! But thank God bestbuy packaged this and some other order in a box and not in the plastic envelope mailers, thats why i dont need to return this coz it's not damaged this time..

Great music from one of the all time great bands Queen. It’s kind of a cheesy movie but perfect for the time period and it never gets old. Plus there is commentary from Alex Ross and that was a surprise and worth it.

This Flash Gordon movie has always been a lot of fun but now in 4K even more stunning than ever before and so many extras that are a lot of fun to watch. This is very campy and fun and is enhanced as never before.

Flash Gordon is peak scifi, if you have never seen it then watch it. This UHD Arrow video release was well worth the money. Fans of Flash Gordon, this is a must have. If you aren't a fan, you will be

What an awesome movie!!! If your like me, an enjoy the genre. This is a must have for your collection. The 4K treatment did not disappoint nor did the classic queen soundtrack. A great way to pass an evening.

Yes, a campy fun film. I first saw this awhile ago on a video cassette. Later on , I had a dvd . I thought the dvd was great. There is no comparison with this. Colors pop out. You can see costume details you never saw before. Though this doesn't come with a standard blu ray, 4k blu ray only. It's well worth a purchase.

I grew up watching Flash Gordon and haven't seen it for some time. I was walking through Best Buy and saw they had it on Blu-Ray. I couldn't resist. Not only does the film look superb in its fully remastered glory, but is just as much fun as I remember it when I first saw it as a child.

Brought this blu ray then it came out in 4K so I brought that also steelbook is great design Best Buy again one of my personal favorites great film

The color, contrast and grain control are dynamic! Looks amazing, better than i remember in the Theaters. This is a GREAT remaster. I just wish more was done with the Audio, make it Dolby Atmos or DTS: X

Flash!!! Ahhhhhhh!!! He'll save everyone of us!!! Seriously under rated camp superhero movie from the 80's. I remember seeing it as a kid in the theater with my father. This version is the best ever.
