Saw it when it first premiered in the theaters. Great story! An adventure like no other. Enjoyed it then and enjoy it just as much now on DVD.

I saw this movie as a child many moons ago and I loved it then and I'm happy to have it in my collection.

My brother loved the movie. He can’t walk and has to sit on his couch all the time because of diabetes. He lost all ten toes and has strokes. I have tried to get him a lot of movies to watch. He is 72 with a birthday coming up. He said the movie was the best one so far for him to laugh and finally enjoy the day. It is a good family movie and I think everyone will love it.

I confess I bought this one for myself. I have fond memories of this film from when I was a kid and it has held up well to what I remember. While it moved too slowly for my girlfriends 2-year old to be entertained I still loved the movie, and best of all so did my girlfriend who had never seen it before.

This is one of my favorite movies growing up! It's an 80's classic must watch and must have! The movie is an awesome scifi adventure that really makes the imagination soar!

There are just some movies you know are "keepers"--the classic, want to watch over and over again kind of movies. This is one of those. It appeals to kids as well as adults--it's fun for the whole family (even if you don't have kids, it is still fun to watch for movie night).

This film is a family movie for kids way ahead of its time. It still carries Disney magic despite being dated. Many fond memories.

Great story about NASA, Outerspace ship inhabitant and a boy with maps of the Galaxies in his memory. NASA wants the information and the Space Ship. Sara Jessica Parker is very young in this movie and does a good job acting.

Have not seen this movie got it as a gift for a friend

When I first saw this movie as a younger man I really fell in love with the plot and idea of this film. It has the mystery of the unknown an the spice of sci-fi that really intriguing to the youth in all of us!

This is a movie I have known since I was a child. It took me forever to remember though. This movie is a good old sci fi type movie for children. It allows the mind to explore different areas and also learn basic life topics. For the time it was made, this is an awesome movie for kids and their families.

Really loved this move since it's original release. Since purchasing this time on DVD, I've watched it 3 times. Still a wonderful, funny, family friendly movie.

Haven’t seen this in 20+ years. Glad Best Buy still carried a DVD version.

Really good movie I enjoy watching over and over. I have even play this for my grandkids.

I try to find videos the grandkids will enjoy on sleepovers. This was one that 4 kids ages 5-10 watched without the usual arguing because someone wants to watch something else. They all enjoyed it and even took it home with them so they could re-watch it the next day.

This movie is a "must have" for anyone that has children. Great fun and sends a child's imagination to all kinds of wonderful possibilities - very family friendly movie.
