Dont use on carpet ! Worthless
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recieved my mat on today an upon sitting in my chair for several hours I notice there are several dents /imprints on mat from chair, which is very obvious to see when i move my chair. After several hours I notice the dents in mat remaine there. I now hate I purchased it and yes its such a big inconvenience of me trying to return it. I guess it doesn't perform well on carpet surface.

Thank you for your feedback on the Floortex Advantagemat. We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing indentations on your PVC chair mat. PVC is a softer and more flexible material and has been tested to withstand weights up to 180 pounds, this includes both the weight of the user and officer chair. Please ensure that you only use your office chair mat and no other furniture (i.e. desks, chairs with four legs etc.) is placed on the mat.
In this case, we would recommend re-measuring your carpet to ensure that this mat is suitable for your carpet. You can measure your carpet thickness using a paperclip and pushing the paperclip through the carpet and padding until it hits the subfloor, then measure the distance on the paperclip from the subfloor to the top of the carpet pile.
If you are looking for a thicker and more durable chair mat, we would suggest our Polycarbonate Ultimat. This product is much thicker and has been tested to take weight of up to 250 lbs. Protects carpets and helps with maneuverability

I hate when my rolling chair gets stuck on the carpet and I also hate ruining my carpet with depressions, this is an easy fix.

We advise that the best way to flatten out our PVC mats is by leaving the mat in a warm room with weight placed on the corners for 72 hours.
