Enjoyable film as it is...fans of the book beware
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first saw this movie years ago & the beauty of it's overall tone & message of love & friendship have stayed with me over the years. When I came across it for sale, I couldn't help but purchase it, so my family could enjoy. It's a wonderful true tale of a young man with pure heart! The only thing I would advise against this film is to not so harshly judge it against its' short story or novel length book versions.
