Sad, but I liked it. At the end those kids really prevailed even though one didn't make it. They had a mean grandmother and an unreliable mother

I liked this movie when I first saw it back in the 80's. It's not for everyone, but I enjoyed it.

I had seen this when I was younger, just once, and it never came on again. The story is really twisted, but this is definitely a classic to have in your collection. The acting and film on which the movie was shot just make this a classic. There are a lot of lines to quote out of this gem.

If you were a fan of the V.C Andrews Flowers in the Attic series, then this film might be of interest. It's not perfect as several significant changes have been made to the story, most notably the ending. But the overall tone, mood, and atmosphere are spot on. Also Christopher Young's score is outstanding. The Blu-ray transfer is serviceable but nothing to write home about.

This is a creepy film for its time. This is less slasher and more of complex human behavior with a twist.

My wife recommends this film. The acting in it looked decent from the 30 minutes of the film that I saw.

My girlfriend and I had never seen this but she had read the book. We decided to buy it and turned out to be a really good movie. Based on her judgement it was a good summary of the book.

Flowers in the attic is a great classic film off of a book and it's very well done. It's scary without the blood or gore. So if you like classic scary movies this is a great one.

This movie was very good, full of suspense and surprise.

I loved this movie when I was younger, but it is a little dated/over the top watching it as a grown adult now. If you like the remake that aired on Lifetime, you should also like this (although the movie ending is different from the tv version)

This is a classic awesome movie. I loved the V.C. Amdrews books and this movie is awesome. A classic movie for a classic book.
