McCartney never disappoints. With this latest addition in the Archive series we are finally given a chance to hear the collaboration demos of Paul McCartney and Elivis Costello (McManus) from the Flowers In The Dirt session, which are excellent. But it is not only about the music, This edition is generous with extras, including a collection of Linda's photos. a huge essay book (which is always interesting), and other booklets of Paul's handwritten lyrics and a 64 page photo book. Also included in the Deluxe addition is a DVD with videos, Put It There documentary and many other interesting bits and pieces. I makes you eager for the next release.

As in the past, McCartney is doing the archive series the right way. This box set shows off Linda McCartney's pictures. Another plus of the box set is McCartney's work with Elvis Costello. The only down side is this would have been a good time to add "Tripping The Live Fantastic" (The live tour to promote Flowers) to the archives set.

Paul McCartney's 1989 album was released as a deluxe box set to the delight of any fan. Disc 2 & 4 will have Elvis Costello fans on board as well, with both legends perfoming together. Plus this comes with a downloadable card for even more tracks not physically found on this set. The sound quality is excellent.
