Wanted to add this to my movie collection. Glad I did.

I've never been too crazy about this film. I appreciate it, but I much prefer the original. I'm one of the few people who feels this way, especially among Cronenberg fans. It's unmistakably a Cronenberg flick, but something about his just never worked as well for me as it did for others. Regardless, it's a film any sci-fi/horror/Cronenberg fan must see.

This movie is a great one to have in your collection.

This is the updated version of the 1958 movie of the same name. A brilliant but eccentric scientist begins to transform into a giant man/fly hybrid after one of his experiments goes horribly wrong. This time the special effects are up to par, and the gore is in your face.

Compare to the original one this one is gross in some parts but is good.

One for the collectors of Steelbooks and a great movie !
