Bought this for my 7 year old nephew. Gets us off the couch and dancing!

This is an enjoyable remake. It is well produced but the acting is not the best. Catchy dancing.

We bought this Blu-Ray, but my husband and I were a little leary about it. I mean, who can do this as good as Kevin Bacon, Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Penn. We were so surprised when we watched the new one! Of course, it is set in a little more modern time, but the actors were awesome!! There were only a couple of minor changes to the original. The one I liked is the character originally played by Chris Penn was not quite so "tight" in this one. You will not be let down if you buy this movie.

I was fearful this remake would be over done and not have a plot that was as good (or better) than the first. This movie turned out great and glad I could purchase it for such a low price at Best Buy!

You must see the original Footloose with Kevin Bacon before watching this movie as you will appreciate it more. They did a great job with the remake!

It was a nice film to share with my tween updated story line was more in line with what modern kids are dealing with overall safe good tween film

I was apprehensive about this remake, bit it was surprisingly well performed. The only scene that made me cringe was his "dance solo".
