It's a great movie to begin with. This blu-ray release is very well done: great picture and sound, sturdy case, etc.

A well done look back at a time in history that is really not so far behind us, Bale does a masterful job of making his character compelling. Here is a gruff guy with a "heart on his sleeve" relationship with his son. Matt Damon and Christian Bale make a fine pairing to tell us what we all missed a few years back
