THE BREAKDOWN: My daughter’s have been using facial scrubs for the last few years. Most of the time when we try new products they are to abrasive, or they just make it worse. The size of the device is just about perfect for my daughters, not too big and not too small. It is easy to use by just having one button that turns it off and on. It is completely waterproof so need to worry about the kids ruining it by getting it wet. There is no way to replace or charge the batteries in the device. So once the around 600 uses are done the device will no longer vibrate. As, far as cleaning goes it did a good job on cleaning my daughters faces. They liked the gentle massage that it gives. It does an ok job at cleaning their faces. There was no drastic improvement on cleanliness reported in over a week of use. PRO’s: - Soft - gentle vibrations - easy to use CON’s: - No charging or replacing of batteries SUMMARY: Overall, this product worked as intended, and I would recommend this to a friend if they are in the market for device like this.

This product was sent to me to review but my wife used it consistently for at least 2 weeks. The review that follows are typed words based on my wife’s experience. --- SETUP --- Setup was simple. The FOREO Luna play plus silicone facial brush comes with a preinstalled battery pack. There is a simple on and off switch that gets the brush vibrating right away. --- FEATURES --- Silicon bristles, vibration option (1 setting available), and package includes a micro-foam cleanser for all skin types. --- PERFORMANCE --- The bristles are soft and provide a nice massage for the face. It is great for relieving facial tension after a stressful day. The cleanser really cleanses the face without drying it, which is saying a lot for being promoted as an all-skin type cleanser. Additionally, the brush can be used dry or wet. --- EXPECTATIONS --- As far as removing black heads and cleaning your pores, there was no noticeable difference. This type of product is meant to make your face look brighter and give it a glow effect. It also increases blood circulation to the face. Personally, I didn’t notice a difference. However, I did enjoy using the silicone facial brush to massage my face. --- APPROVAL --- If you are the type of person who enjoys doing a home-spa experience, then this product is for you.

Our family has been using facial scrubs to help remove blackheads on our faces. And often, the buff pads that we were using were too abrasive and fell apart easily. Even with soft scrubbing it still doesn’t seem to get rid of the blackheads. We were excited to try the Foreo for the massaging sonic effect. It’s very small and fits well into my palm. We enjoy that the vibrating sonic pulses are nice and low, and the bristles themselves are very soft. I noticed right away at how it lathers our cleanser really well around the face. Afterwards, you are left with a nice and gentle glow, or how my wife said, the face looks brighter. There are no harsh ‘scratching’ feel on our face and just a minute use on the face, it feels really rejuvenating. After a week on my son’s face, we noticed that some (not all) of the blackheads were gone and there was some improvement. That was way better than our older sponge buff pads. According to the specs, it has up to 600 uses. But with the three of us using it at least 3 times a week, we are going to need another one soon. Overall, we are really pleased with the Foreo Luna Play Plus and having a glowing face is really worth it.

I have been using silicone face cleansing devices for a while. This one is really good! I like the speed of vibration for cleaning my face. The size is good for me and my face, it’s easy to get into all of the contours of my face with it. I have used similar cheapie devices, and the silicone for those is definitely different and not as nice. The little tiny bristles on this Foreo are very sturdy. Sometimes I’ll notice that some of the bristles look messed up, but then I just knock it with my finger, and it’s all good again. There is only one speed on this device. Which is fine, I have another higher end silicone device with several speeds and I only use the one speed anyway. It is a confusing concept for us, but this device does not require charging. The included battery life is supposed to be up to 600 uses. I broke that down with the price of $59 to be .098, just under 10 cents per use, which is 20 months if you use it once a day. Because it doesn’t need to be charged is sort of liberating. Next week I’m going on a short trip and I’ll bring this with me. It’s small but not flat, so it will take up more room than my usual travel scrubber but I want to keep using this thing. I like that it can stand up on its base if you want it to, especially in a hotel bathroom. I think this is a great face cleansing device and would make a good gift as well.

Part of my wife’s nightly routine is a hair skincare routine, and when I saw this, I thought this might go a long way to help with that nightly chore. The following are my wife’s thoughts on using this for the last week. Small, compact, and easy to maneuver around your face. It removes all the makeup completely and I was surprised at how well it removed all the eye makeup as well. At first, I was hesitant to move it around my eyes but the size and comfort of it facilitated this task. It is small enough to hold comfortably in your hand but large enough to cover the area of your face well. Cleaning is so easy. You just run water over it and all the residue slides right off. It is waterproof so that makes it super easy and convenient. This device is something that can be carried easily in a toiletry bag, especially when traveling. I can see myself using this product, daily.

I like it but i wish i had know that it had a limited lifespan of use, its not obvious when purchasing. I dont know that when im done i can’t recharge or put in new batteries but will have to dispose of the device itself, it feels so wasteful

Bought for my daughter for Christmas. She says it works for bigger parts of your face other parts of your face. I was upset when she told me it wasn’t rechargeable. I searched and found videos on how to change battery. She said that it wasn’t recommended to change the battery but is going to when the time comes.

The Foreo Luna Play Plus 2 is the smaller travel size version in their electric facial cleanser lineup. It is compact and easy to use, and perfectly fits into our personal travel kit. The cleaner is waterproof, so can be used in shower without issue. Compare to it's older siblings, the Play Plus 2 has a weaker motor, and does not have app controllability. Only a power button on the back makes it work. However that still gets the job done. After using it for some time, I can say that it is much better and easier to use than other face scrubbers. The silicone tips feels good, and purportedly are more hygenic then nylon ones (according to Foreo). Cleaning the bristles themselves afterwards is super easy, as long as I didn't get it dry and sticky. For trying out an electric facial cleaner, this is a good entry point. The price is not too high, and you get a quality product that's portable. The only gripe I have about is the battery. It's a non-serviceable part as far as I can figure out (and not a rechargeable one - Best Buy mistakenly says there's a USB charging cable which is incorrect), so basically you'll be throwing it out after it dies.

I ordered this for my wife. I know she’s always looking for good facial cleansers, and this looked like a good choice. She has always had sensitive skin, and that sensitivity would be a make-it or break-it for this product. The included support packet says that all Luna devices are rechargeable, with the exception of Luna Play. Eventually, we found some comments on the Internet clarifying that the Play Plus 2 falls into that exception. We also assumed that was the case when we couldn’t find a charging port nor a slot to remove the battery and saw a note saying that it was good for more than 600 uses. Okay, onto the review. Documentation accompanying the Play Plus 2 (PP2) indicates: • Deep yet gentle cleaning • Ultra-hygienic silicone • Relaxing Facial Massage • Suitable for all skin types • Is good for more than 600 uses Size-wise, the PP2 is compact. And yet my wife never thought it would slip from her hand. And even if it did, it is 100% waterproof. The silicone has two different textures you can use for cleaning and massaging. Included in the purchase is micro-foam cleanser in a tube. To use the PP2, dampen your face and apply your regular face cleanser. Then wet the PP2 and press the universal button to turn on the device (located on the bottom of the device). Gently press the soft silicone bristles to your skin and move the device in circular motions around your face, gliding up and down the nose, for 1 minute. Press and hold the universal button again to turn off the device. Rinse and pat your face dry, then apply any other skincare products of your choice, if desired. In the end, my wife is highly pleased with the PP2 and said that it didn’t bother her skin at all. In fact, she says it did a very good job. That’s a win-win in my book.

I have started to use this everyday. As for efficacy I do not know if there is much to speak about. The product does as represented a a vibrating facial massager with an interchangeable battery that can be replaced by removing screws located at the bottom of the device. The main thing this product has provided for me was an easier and more complete facial cleaning routine that has sprouted from me wanting to use this device for its touted benefits.
