the decade of great westerns the 1950s
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a fun, grim, gritty solid western with plenty of action and bloodshed. The violence however comes from true character development and motivation. The great Joel Macrea stars. The widescreen presentation is gorgeous, fantastic cinematography.Has a bit of a sadistic streak to it and an ending you normally don't see coming from a western of this era.
