Great game with good cars and sounds it also has really good features like anti lag on your exhaust

the video graphic are tops ,, the driving is way easier ,, but so far after couple of weeks ,, i just been driving on the road , the streets, the dirt ,, avoiding cars and racing is really not there .. i may not have gotten to those levels as i must get credit ,, and most everything is locked ,, as i just drive around in the desert and on the you know what .. i been racing with forza original on xbox plain for decades ,, and had no idea what this horizon is .. and if i known ,, i would not buy this .. but i had to buy this just to see if things and the driving has changed .. i also am playing this on pc now to get away from the box / ps console,, so now i wait for the pc forza 7motorsport to release .. but glad i got on sale for 25 ..and kids like this .. and learn how to drive and not be reckless too almost forgot to write ,, this took over 12 hours to download from microsoft ,, and i seen this written by other too ,, how sad that big microsoft allow this .. i also gotten ms flight sim and that down load took over about 30 hours ..

Needs fast travel thats not locked behind a paywall or grinding in my opinion. Yes its cool to be able to simply drive anywhere anytime, but having to drive so far between events/challenges just to progress makes it feel like a choir and even a map of this size get old fairly quickly because of it.

I'm a big fan of racing games and would certainly rate this as my favourite so far. The accessibility it permits due to being able to fine tune the difficulty to suit your abilities makes it approachable for anybody whether they prefer a more arcade or simulation style approach. Throughout the single player career you are regularly pitted against the same 'drivatars' giving you the illusion of rivalries with both your friends and people randomly picked even though it is only a representation of them. I was a little sceptical of this feature when I first heard of it but you will quickly pick up on certain peoples driving mannerisms being accurately represented by the new AI and can adapt your own ways of dealing with them accordingly. It certainly adds a little more depth and personality to what are generally fairly dull processions. Also new is the ability to qualify for a gold medal for finishing in the top 3 which, instead of making things too easy as I first thought, makes races much more exciting as you can now increase the difficulty of the AI to ensure that you are racing right to the finish instead of just taking first place on lap 1 and going through the motions. I find myself trying much harder on tracks I find more difficult and it is much more interesting now that a single mistake can cost me a race. The cars are fantastically recreated and each have their own distinctive feel. Being able to fine tune my favourite cars to get the most out of them is ever rewarding as well as the feature to let the game automatically apply modifications to suit a certain level if you just want to jump into a race. -Summary- Overall this is a huge improvement on the last Forza game and introduces a way of playing with friends and people around the world when they can't actually be online. The single player is extensive and due to the reworked medal system and drivatars it is much less of a grind than racing games usually end up being. The multiplayer is also extremely varied and introduces a large number of fun game modes and challenges as well as the standard class based competitions. Everything that could be wanted from a racer in a single game.

Forza is an expansive game and really highlights the areas you are driving in. The gameplay is awesome, but the visuals are stunning as well. This was definitely a hit with my son. I just hope he doesn't end up driving like this in real life...

As you'll find multiple reviews online, you will see most critics have given this a 8.5-10, some reviewers like IGN are heralding this as a masterpiece. If a critic is calling it a masterpiece, I have to buy it.... I have NOT experienced any of the crashes like some of the other reviewers had said. I did submit the code using the Xbox App on Windows 11, that took me to the Store, where I submitted the code. No problems. Downloaded and started playing. I'm not a racer-gamer type fan, but I like the relaxed / tutorial / handholding that it helps guide newbies how to enjoy the game. I like earning new cars as I play. I enjoy how each car feels different. It appealed to me, as a casual gamer. I did have a problem with Best Buy's code being A) Late, and B) not working initially, C) the link given in the email did not work, I just had to type in the code manually on the Xbox App. I did not have a server problem, able to log in every time, no lag, no interruptions.

I love Forza games! Every forza game that has come out shows realism and nice detail in a racing game. This game is no exception. This game feels and looks very good. The game play makes me feel like I am really driving a nice, expensive car. This game is a very nice racing game.

Forza captures mexico in a never before seen way that just makes you awe every corner you look at. The car selection & customization is awesome & pretty accurate

I know that the Horizon series tends to go for more of an arcade racing experience, but that doesn’t make this any less fun. This is a well crafted love letter to its setting, racing and car culture and exceeded my expectations, which I didn’t think possible after Horizon 4. If you own a Series X, this is a defining game for the platform. Timing of digital code delivery was a little slow, so I couldn’t pre load it, but that doesn’t take away from a nearly perfect game.
