I got it for my son but he really didn't like it! Maybe it was just his preference

This is a great game, the map is huge and there is so much to explore. The environment is also very detailed and realistic. The car selection is very large but not as large as Forza 4. All of the driving dynamics that made Forza great are still in Horizon. The only gripe I have with this game is that the graphics are a bit of a step down from Forza 4. The cars just don't look quite as good.

Forza Horizon is different from the other Forza games, in that it's focused on a racing festival where you race "real" cars on highways, dirt roads and the like, instead of racing sports cars and racing-built cars on real-world tracks. It's not a bad thing, but it is necessary for the user to know that going in, or else they may find themselves disappointed. The gameplay is good. You start the game in a race to the Horizon festival, trying to earn a spot in the festival's competitions. Throughout the game, you will compete in races that utilize the roads around the Festival area. The AI isn't too strong or too weak, which is something that few racing games get right in my opinion. There's a lot of variety in the cars available. Some races have specific rules about what cars you can use, and you can find cars located throughout the game's map, hidden in random places. There's also lots of DLC (both free and paid) that you can use. There's also a good variety in the tracks. Although most of them will make use of the highways around the Forza Horizon world, a number focus on the back roads and other small streets, which can impact what cars in your collection work the best for that race. Although this game isn't a Forza game like the others in the series, it is still a very good racing game, and if you love the genre this is one of the must-own racing games on the Xbox 360.

If you're thinking Forza meets Need for Speed, you're not too far off. Just no Police your'e running from. Open world racing mixed with the graphics, physics and sound we've come to love and expect from the Forza series makes for great fun.

Huge selection of cars for everyone. Can custome upgrade cars for your liking and driving style. Wish it had split screen mode.

Having the ability to free roam is always fun. Graphics are good. But wished they hadnt taken out some cars but still a great selection and then some.

This game is a must buy for anyone that has a need for an adrenaline rush, or just likes to drive cars period. All the cars look real, sound real, and best of all, act real. One of the best driving games this year for sure.

As an open world driving game this game is awesome. The graphics and size of the area are great. The way the driving feels and the overall control you have over your cars is almost like any other forza game. The main problem is the relative lack of variety of cars but compared to other games its still very good

I have always been a fan of the Forza series. This takes a step back from the serious racing games that were the previous Forza games and give you free roam. You can race other cars, do challenges, or just drive around Colorado.

Great game for anyone into cars, games, and fun! Even my girlfriend will play it. Win.

Great but not worth the 100 bucks with the pass. 40 bucks to unlock the whole game is crazy!!!

My 14 year old cousin makes time to play this game between the hours he logs on Call of Duty, That tells me it is an enjoyable, addictive thrill ride.

Not a bad piece...harping on the playing graphics being epic

Like past Forzas, there's alot of cars to choose from and even more DLC available. I love the ability to free roam throughout the game while also working throught the story line.

Overall it is a fun casual racing game, but I would wait for the price to drop unless you get it during the buy 2 get 1 free. It's a great inbetween of arcade and simulation racing. The only thing I really dislike is the lack of vehicle damage. Also, it has slightly less of a variety of cars than I expected unless you're dishing out cash to stock up. I'd really like to get a new steering wheel for it I'm sure it would increase the experience by far.

i love this game because it is great for people who know about car the paint jobs and the sound of the engine. it also has older cars that of couse had slower speeds back in the day. i would recommend this to a friend that like driving and racing cars
