Gift for my brother who is home bound. He loves movies and these movies will take his mind off his health and will probably make him laugh. The acting is funny and the voice of Francis the mule fits the movie perfectly. This is a family friendly movie for all ages. I had forgotten I saw these movies when I was younger until my brother said something about wanting these. I will probably get this set for myself. We all need a great comedy which is clean and good for a family. There are 3 episodes about the talking mule. Good value from Best Buy and shipping was fast.

As the pace of life continues to gain momentum, some things seem to get lost as somehow no longer relevant. Francis may fall into that class but in a time when everything must be politically correct or starkly real in presentation, its refreshing to be able to look back at a simpler time when it was okay to just have fun and let your imagination run wild. This is that kind of entertainment and should be considered in any film library.

This is such a cute and funny show with Francis the Talking Mule. Even though it is more than 50 years old it is still hilarious and fun to watch.Francis is adorable. Love it. Highly recommend.

Purchased for my father who has been searching for this, he said he loves it great price for the entire series.
