First off 3d is amazing on this disc video and sound are fantastic I would say give this a watch on Netflix or cable first to see if you like it If you do then this is the best way to watch it Seriously one of the top 3d discs out there So i would give the movie (out of 5) a 3.5 the 3d a 5 and the 2d a 5 Sound is 5 plus just amazing One thing the way they packaged these discs one on top of the other...... the discs stuck together bad i had to pry them apart scary i though i would ruin the discs but it turned out ok Note to bluray distributors stop being so cheap use real cases those eco with the holes cut out ones suck bad and they make collectors mad because the artwork gets ruined 4k bluray buyers beware every one so far has been like that

If you have seen the first Sin City Movie then you cannot miss this one its in the same line as the first with great 3D effects. The price for Steel Book is exceptional initially I paid a bit more but Best Buy droped the price and imediately matched it I did not even have to take the DVD back as they had my record it's good to be a Best Buy reward member to make avail of special offers.

Let me start off with the packaging. The steelbook has a nice design, and art style. It is made with the same quality as any other Best Buy exclusive steelbook. Now the film on the other hand. It is a decent film overall. Dame to Kill For is not as good as the first Sin City. The plot is a little thin in points, but it is forgivable. If you enjoy the style and feel of these films.

The First Sin City was a great movie, this one follows the same themes but the story lines aren't as tight . You have to watch the first picture to understand the plot. Like many sequels it falls short. The absence of yellow b*****d is felt and Rosario Dawson's is greatly reduced. The addition of Eva Green is a nice touch. Not a bad movie, just not as good as the first.

I enjoyed it as much as the first movie, which is saying a lot considering how awful many sequels are. If you liked the first, you'll probably enjoy this one as well just don't expect anything groundbreaking...it follows the same formula. Packaging wise it's fine, except perhaps that the 3D blu-ray disc just comes in a paper sleeve instead of having a dedicated spot.

I am a big fan of the first "Sin City", which was released in 2005. Nine years later, the same team directed this movie, and while the visuals are still incredible, I still liked the first one better. If you are a fan of the first movie, and the comics, you'll most likely be entertained by this as well. Plus, the exclusive Best Buy steelbook case is really nice!

Don't know if I would have been blown away by this if I hadn't seen the first one a long time ago. I loved the first one. Don't get me wrong, the second was great, just not sure if it would have been better in my mind without seeing the first. I was a little disappointed that Clive Owen didn't play Dwight like in the first, but Josh Brolin is pretty sweet anyway.

Awesome. If your scared of wasting your time bcus the first sin city movie was IN MY PERSONALL CASE creepy. Then fret do not. This movie is awesome. Joseph Levitts performance killed it. Ok its a movie that is very adult rated but as an adult its just a lot of fun. It is 100% fantasy logic. So if you just only watch PG-13 Movies and have trouble suspending your imagination this is not for you. :( The first Sin City movie had some story involving ____ and that killed for me since Its like to annoying, and just not (typically) a fun release for me, you know, knowing the good guy/ girl got- you know...:( Coolio, snakesoup out

as an original sin city fan, i was hopeful for this movie. sadly, it really doesn't live up to the rep of the first movie, but as a fan, i had to give it a like anyway. a little slow and meandering, while trying to cater to the things we loved about the original, it falls short. that said, if you're a fan, it's worth a watch!

I am a fan of Sin City and this movie holds the bar of the previous movie. The graphics are great and the soundtrack is too, it's something special, and I would love for them to continue this series. Sin City A Dame to Kill For is a crime thriller film based on Frank Miller's graphic novels, if you like them you will like this movie as well.

Entertaining movie with great 3D cartoonish effects remaining me of reading the 3D comic books printed in the 80's. Although interesting, felt the first film much better, yet this one had a charm of its own, picking up where the first left off. Worth buying on sell, but have only watched once vs the 10+ times I watched Sin City.

I was a huge fan of Sin City and I enjoyed Sin City 2 very much as well. I'm also a big fan of steelbooks, so this was a logical choice for me. I was very pleased with the steelbook artwork when I opened the package from Best Buy...it looks great. The movie has the same comic book like feel and look to it. I will say that I prefer the first one to the sequel because Mickey Rourke's part is more fun, but the sequel is still entertaining and worth having if you've got the first film in your collection. There is a very brief appearance from Christopher Lloyd, which is epic, and Jessica Alba's character is more prominent, which is a plus in my mind.

    Amazing Movie, Great Price/Packaging

Best Buy really went above and beyond with the Sin City 2 release. Got it on 3D, Blu Ray, DVD, and Digital for only 19.99! The movie itself is, in my opinion, even better than the first. The story is tighter, the acting is better, and quality of production is top notch, and the special features are very in-depth. If you are a fan of the first movie, you will absolutely love Sin City 2. Joseph Levitt is a great add to the cast, but Ava Green really steals the show here. She was outstanding to watch. This movie is definitely not for kids, but if you love action, over-the-top violence, and comic books, you'll totally get hooked into Sin City 2.

Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller Shooting Blanks

I really enjoyed Sin City. The first film was gritty, bold and outrageous. City City 2 is none of those things. The first film had several short stories that helped the momentum and kept the pacing moving. The sequel spends most of it's time on one story, that isn't particularly interesting . Frank Miller is called a legend [ mostly by Frank Miller] but after the God awful Spirit movie and this film, he should be banned from ever setting foot on a sound stage again. The big named star try to work with the weak script they have, but that added to the uninspired direction from miller and Rodriguez and there isn't a lot to recommend the film, except the visual effects , which are again what set Sin City apart from other films. Perhaps the most interesting visual is Eva Green on screen in various stages of undress. That alone may be enough to buy the Blu Ray on sale.

Still a great story and a good continuation from the original. If you have (and like) the first movie, then definitely consider owning this one. I paid what I wanted to for this one which was under $10. Good buy and worth it. Eva Green is always nice to look at btw. :)

Blu-Ray 3D: This was a hard movie for me to rate on "stars". I only gave it 4 stars, because I thought the script was not as good as the original and some of the characters really weren't needed in this movie. However, the animation and movie itself pops off the screen better than the first "Sin City".

The second installment of Sin City is very good ,but not as good as the first,& alot more violent, not that the first wasnt, but this one seems far greater, outside of that the filming once again matches Frank Millers style,Some good acting by all, overall very good, i dont recomend for children!

The first Sin City was more thought out and left no questions about the character's motives or the interaction of the events in the story. This one was good, but would have been better if they had cleared up the character's motives or showed the history of the characters and/or events.

As always, this is another great steelbook from Best Buy, I highly recommend this steelbook if you already have the first Sin City movie steelbook from Best Buy (which features Jessica Alba on the front cover), this will add a great collection to the shelf of any steelbook collector fanatics!

Another romp in the mind of Frank Miller genius. Three more stories that add to the mythos of Sin City. Not a sequel to the 2005 Sin City, but a prequel that sets up the story for the original. A must watch for any Frank Miller fan. Would recommend seeing the original 2005 film first.
