Blu-ray set of all 8 of the great Frankenstein movies from the golden age of horror movies in the '30s and '40s. Included are the original with Boris Karloff, Bride with Elsa Lancaster, up to Abbot and Costello Meet the Wolfman, which I consider one of the greatest comedy films of all time. I've already watched the first 2, and the video and audio qualities are excellent!

It’s amazing movies made in the 1930,s can look this good. It’s great to watch them in sequence on my 50 inch screen.

Frankenstein (1931) and Bride of Frankenstein had their high definition debut several years ago. While they are included on this set, the real meat is in the sequels (Son of Frankenstein, Ghost of Frankenstein, House of Frankenstein, and House of Dracula). All of the sequels have been remastered. All look really good with the updated transfers. Son of Frankenstein (1939) is here with additional footage that has not been seen on home video. The added definition really makes the original photography shine and creates a great viewing experience. Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein is included on this set as well.

These movies look brand new on blu-ray! Well worth the upgrade over my DVD set. I already own the Classic Monsters BD set which has 2 of these titles and the original The Wolf-Man in that collection. This set gives me the rest of Frankenstein as well as most of The Wolf-Man films too (missing only Werewolf of London). Had I'd gone the other way and chose The Wolf-Man Legacy, I would've been missing Son Of and Ghost Of Frankenstein.....so this was the better choice for now. No matter which way you go with these sets, you can't go wrong really. The quality is outstanding for films of this age as they look like they were made yesterday. I'm still impressed....and you will be too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Excellent Blu-ray set all derived from 4K Restorations of Universal Pictures 8-Classic Frankenstein motion pictures from 1931-to-1948. This is a dream set to anyone who loves the Classic Monster movies. It took me years as a kid watching Shock Theater in order to finally see all of these films. They look fantasic here. Worth every penny.

This collection is essential for any fan of classic Universal horror. Every classic Frankenstein movie appearance is here along with a lot of bonus features for the original 1931 film, The Bride of Frankenstein, and Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein. The A/V quality of the Blu-ray set is very impressive for how old these films are. Keep these Legacy Collections coming Universal!

I used to work at a video store and have always been a movie geek. Normally I try to stay away from double purchases but I had to get this because I didn't have the other Frankenstein movies and the Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein which is a classic. Right now I'm not using the best TV but from what I can tell they look great and great extras too.

I've seen Frankenstein in many different variations. I've always been impressed with what new writer's have done in the story's interpretation over the years. But after revisting this classic franchise for Halloween it became clear to me, no other version is anywhere near as good.

Of all of the new Legacy Collections, the Frankenstein Collection is the one to buy. I purchased all of the core Universal Monster movies on Blu ray the year before and this set included all of the movies I was missing (wanted).

This collection features all of the classic Frankenstein movies from Universal Studios, many of them on Blu-ray for the very first time. Picture quality and audio quality are excellent. This is a must have for any horror fan

A great collection to have on blu-Ray. Unfortunately there's some duplication between this and the Wolfman collection, but still worth picking up if you love the classic Universal Monsters.

I've been a fan of these movies since I was a kid. It's great to have all the classic Universal horror films in this series. Love the Blu-Ray and bonus features. Highly recommended

I already owned these movies on the DVD boxed set but I wanted to see if the blu ray cleaned the picture up and they certainly did! These films are classics and I'm glad I upgraded.

Had the DVD, now the blu-ray, which includes more content, great picture, all the Universal horror films are must-haves for the library, watch them every Halloween.

Great set of old black and white classics. Is a very good value for what you get. Transfers are all adequate, and probably the best we're going to get for 70 year old movies.

These classic Universal monster films look fantastic on blu-ray! I hope they continue to release the other complete series (Dracula, The Mummy, Invisible Man, etc).

From Boris Karloff to Abbott and Costello, this set has the must haves of the Universal Frankenstein series n one place, with lots of special features as well.

Universal studios has finally released the Frankenstein sequels on bluray and they all look great, with a cool package design. Hope for more down the road !

This one is probably the best overall set of all the new Universal 'Legacy' sets. Some of the sets contain some of the same films, so take note of that.
