This movie is obviously influenced by Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and it is extremely well done. Tim Burton did it once again with this amazing stop motion movie. Plot is great and you’ll fall in love with each and every character.

If you like nightmare before Christmas then you will like this movie.

I have always loved Tim Burton movies. When Halloween came around my daughter wanted this movie and I had a coupon so we bought it. It's his take on Frankenstein's monster. My daughter loved it. The stop motion is good. Not quite as good as "A Nightmare before Christmas" but that is a minor quibble.

Great movie, especially now that we are in October. the boys enjoyed it very much. Really nice story. And if you like Tim Burton, a good piece to add to your collection.

The first time I saw it I thought it was a forgettable Disney film, decided to buy it a few years later when it was on the right sale, and definitely appreciated it more the second go around, and even more the third.

A Tim Burton Classic!!!! Totally worth this Blu-ray DVD combo. A must own for any Tim Burton fan. The perfect stocking stuffer!!!!

This was an extremely good movie. It came with the full-length version of Frankenweenie and the short that inspired it. Unfortunately, it did not come with a digital copy and Disney refuses to sell upgrade digital copies on Vudu at a discount rate. A digital copy would cost more than what the Blu ray cost.

This movie is not for toddlers! Its for rational adults and adolescents who can understand the theme of love and friendship. As an adult, this movie is an all time favorite that will have you crying like a child

My daughter wanted to watch this movie several times in a row - the boy's dog died (obviously), but it sparked some good questions from her on that topic. If you like Tim Burton, you'll like it!

The movie is a cute movie perfect for older kids. It is a little darker than most kid movies so I wouldn't recommend it for particularly sensitive children. Frankenweenie is typical Tim Burton and does not disappoint.

Frankenweenie is a charming black-and-white stop-motion adaption of Frankenstein. Danny Elfman's score is wonderful, as always, and compliments Tim Burton's vision. Great flick for the whole family.

I got this for my grandson who is three years old and he cant stop watching it!! If your kiddos love The Nightmare berfore christmas this a perfect fit for the blu ray library. Plus you get a dvd copy too just in case you dont have a blu ray player in every room!

Glad to see the original concept expanded. Lot of fun here, without a lot of padding. Rather pleased to see how a short concept film adapted wonderfully to full length!

I really loved this film when I saw it in the theater and this bluray does not disappoint. Really good transfer. Interesting extras. If you liked this film you will not be disappointed.

Burton’s original short is considered a classic. This stop motion reboot is not as fresh as I would like, but it looks amazing and is still filled with plenty of heart.
