Marginally Usable Translator

Good for Phrases

Some individual words came up with 2 -3 different meanings. For Hotel, you could end up at a Restaurant or Bar. The phrases were much better.

Disappointing- but okay for single words

This was easy to set language to and from, but difficult to put multiple words together. Did have common phrases. Would not do again. Would just use phone or small dictionary to avoid roaming fees.

Great for the non tech person

Maybe buy a iPod touch and install an app. Just not worth the time and effort to get it to work properly. With so much advancements in electronics, this company would least make a decent translator.

Not easy to use at all!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hooked it up to my computer to install "Franklin Bridge" but the translator does not make itself known to the computer. I have set the time and date at least 5 times but the translator doesn't recognize the setting and reverts back to 1980. Not in the least easy to set up.

Best I've had so far

But this one changed my perception that handheld electronic translators were a dying technology. Useful little device, this one.
