    Not worth the money

I was excited when I first got this home but was soon disappointed. I had an old Casio organizer 20 years ago that resembled the technology used in this unit. It's outdated, cumbersome to use, and is designed more for someone wanting to learn English. You can't type your own phrases to translate but must search through a cumbersome menu for the provided made up phrases. You can only do single words. When you navigate through the different sections you are supposed to be able to highlight particular words for voice translation, however only half of them worked. They use more than one voice and many of them I could not understand. Overall I found this unit overpriced with outdated technology. Franklin needs to update it's technology into the 21st century. Also the finish should be matte instead of the lacquer one used. Sorry, this translator is a bust.
