We are Sling subscribers and were lured in by the low introductory cost. As we added "must haves" we found that the cost was not quite as much of a bargain as we had hoped. Disconnecting service is not as turn key as you would think, considering the full month billing. All that being said, it is a good streaming service. The interface is intuitive, it has never flaked out on us (like NetFlix and Hulu tend to) and the on demand content is solid. We've stayed with it 2 years and are relatively happy.

Our new (to us) home was remodeled in the early 00s so it has a builtin TV shelf that wouldn't fit the 50" we already had. The space would only allow a 40" so we chose this model. We went with this over some of the competing models because of the built in Roku and google home integration. We're happy with product, except for the sound which is barely passable. We will certainly be purchasing a small soundbar to mitigate this and would recommend anyone considering this unit plan on doing the same.

I like Sling for the fact that there are no contracts, you can choose your plan and add ons that you want, and its so much cheaper than what a cable provider charges. And, they are improving over time. This beats having to constantly call the cable company because of bogus charges on your bill or the fact the cable service has gone out for the hundredth time. I would recommend it to a friend!

I had directv now and Hulu but love sling TV better. The on demand is better and it's easier to use.

This was only a 30 day free trial that came with the tv. It is pretty much a competitor between Netflix, Amazon, Roku, etc.. Just do some research first and choose for yourself.

Great buy for under $500. 4K series 6 for under 500 is a great buy right now. First experience with TCL and Roku but so far so good. Use fire stick previously and still seem to use Netflix and sling more than the roku channel stuff. Picture is really good even with our slow internet. Sound isn’t the best but doesn’t seem like any new tv has very good sound. Replace a 46” 720p seiki and there is a pretty big difference in picture quality. The tcl makes you feel like you are part of the show

A good Smart TV for the sale price. I wish I could have gotten one that is much higher than 60HZ. The higher HZ the better the picture. I imagine they are much more expensive. The only thing I’m not happy about is not being able to just channel directly to a channel, When watching regular TV. I have the Roku remote App on my IPhone and paid the $3.99 that is supposed to give you more features with using your iPhone as a remote. But, I haven’t noticed any way to channel directly?? Bummer!

I had planned to purchase just a small monitor for a computer. Than I started looking at other TV's. I previously owned a smaller TCL TV that broke (my fault, it wasn't defective). I LOVED the interface with the TCL TV. It's, in my opinion, the best there is out there. They are also very cheap, comparatively. I kept looking at bigger and bigger TV's. It came down to either a 65" TCL 600 Series for $800, or splurge for the LG 55" OLED for $1605 after taxes. So, I spent double what I planned to spend. Was it worth it? Yep! I don't like the interface on the LG as much as I did with the TCL but the picrure is amazing I don't care. It's bright even in a bright room. The black is inky black. Also, while it certainly isn't a terribly important feature, I was surprised by the sound quality just from the internal speakers. While I don't love the interface, I would gladly spend double what I planned to spend to get this picture!

NOW I need to know how to have the dialogne ther is occurring on screen can be shown to appear in words flowing across the bottom of the screen. I did it once, but now can not recall what I did.- an email to me or a phone call will help please The s"Spport for Your Insignia TV" printout is so small I can not read it and have found no way to enlarge it. A large print I can read is requested, please

We are working with a trial version. New to streaming services. Took us a bit to figure out how to find what we actually want to view, like past episodes, etc. We have been able to access much of what we desired to watch from months/years previous. Seems like a good service for regular streaming TV. Some add-ons a bit pricey, but we prefer to play outside instead of watch TV anyhow.

This TV is a really good deal for the price when compared to other 65” sets. We upgraded our main tv to the Samsung Q6 last year and use that set as the standard to judge this tv. An honest comparison has this set coming in a close second to the Q6. I course that’s when you consider it’s about $400 cheaper and has a super convenient Roku interface, with a super easy single remote with only a few buttons for everything you need. As with all TVs the speakers are fined for dialogue and series entertainment, but you’ll want a sound bar with sub for a minimal cinema experience. The Q6 actually has better sound just from the set also, but the difference in this area isn’t reason enough to pay the additional cost of the Q6. All-in-all this set is a great value for a solid build with a super convenient operation. We can’t comment on the stand that comes with it since we wall mounted it - that was super easy too.

Installed my new LG High Def 43 inch TV per LG instructions, and had no difficulties. Installation instructions were great! Was able to connect my TV to my cable service, and happy to report that my picture and sound quality are excellent! Colors, brightness, clarity, etc. were just fine right out of the box. I didn't have to adjust anything. So far, a very favorable experience. My only suggestion to LG would be to include a friendly User's Manual (or suggested website where instructions can be found) for all the Smart TV Options. Being inexperienced with Smart TV's, I've had to search the Internet and YouTube for instructions on how to activate and use many of the Smart TV functions. I know they change over time, but it would be great to have a ready source available, especially for those of us in the 'older' generation. :) That aside, it's a great product that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Only had tv for a week. Easy to set up. Easy to operate. On-screen controls more intuitive than our previous samsung tv. Picture good. Sound ok. Only drawback is I wish there was a way to get rid of the many Internet-related choices (Hulu etc) on the Home button that we will never use. The setup manual was good enough to get us started but not great. There was no operating manual - had to guess and check our way through the screens, which as i already noted were intuitive.

Unfortunately, I can’t give Sling TV an honest review, because apparently it came with the TV purchased for family in Chicago. However, in speaking with them they were surprised to be able to see TV shows on the new TV which is not currently hooked up to their cable. Since this appears to be a 30-Day trial, I assume after 30 days a notice will be received as to whether it will be retained at whatever the monthly payment would be. But for now, I’m sure it’s great thing to have.

Pros: Super lightweight and easy to assemble. It was also packaged really well and delivered a whole day earlier than initially promised. Cons: I wish it had another hdmi plug in the back. The remote is not my favorite but you get used to it. The Roku system Is basically the same as my amazon fire stick but some of the Apps act differently so I use both on here. I got a great deal on it plus the free delivery so the pros way outweigh the cons. Definitely recommend.

These gentlemen were Outstanding. Fred, the lead person (don't remember the name of the other gentleman that was with him) were helpful, considerate and new what to do . Fred, especially spent the most time with us and he recommended some things that needed to be update in order to improve signal. Clean up was above most people that work in your home. He was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects for the electronic issues plus put the beautiful tv table together like he was a carpenter. The other gentlemen was great also, but left earlier than Fred in order to get started on another task that Fred had to join him on after he finished at our place. He never acted like he was in a hurry to get to the next job. When he left we had a good idea of what to do and how to do it regarding the new Sony 65" flat screen tv. Best Buy Geek Squad has always been a great bunch of knowledgeable people.

This TV is a good one for the money. However, I'm not yet sure about the quality. I've only had this TV for about one week, and a couple for times I noticed static lines going across the entire screen while watching a movie. I hope the TV doesn't have a defect because, I didn't buy the extended warranty. Also, the remote is probably one of the cheapest remotes that I've ever had that comes with a TV. It would probably break very easily if it's ever dropped. NOT GOOD...

The Sling service aims to reduce your need to have a traditional cable TV service, and it does this fairly well. It is supported by a range of smart TV's and mobile apps (not sure if there is a web player) so you should be able to watch almost anywhere you'd like. I only gave it 4/5 due to the fact it doesn't quite have all the channels we use from our current cable bundle, although it is cheaper. Just make sure the channels you watch are included in the bundle you go for.

Good picture quality with a little bit of adjusting the settings. Sound quality is good. The stand was somewhat difficult to put on because the legs didn't snap into place easily. There were no written instructions (just pictures) and I wouldn't even have known they were supposed to snap into place if I hadn't have read reviews before I bought the TV. Also, one of the screws on each side is in an awkward place to reach. Overall a good TV and I'm happy with my purchase.

ZERO problems ZERO pixel problems ZERO LED problems ZERO Vertical Banding, maybe very slight diming in the corners.... But for the price, this is the BEST TV on the market. If I had any complain at all, is that you can't turn down the brightness or backlight enough... It's our first TV in our bedroom so I was hoping I could dim it down a little more for a very dark room. This TV's picture almost sparkles it's so nice. YES You can use your Roku Mobile app and Bluetooth Headphones to listen to the TV with ZERO Lag. I've got a 2 year old LG G6 phone and LG bluetooth headphones and this works flawlessly, plus using the mobile app gives you voice control. I bought this on December 1st and had them deliver it as a surprise on Christmas Eve for the Wife. They came right at 8am and it was on the wall by 8:30. It was so light weight I mounted it by myself. I love our new TV. Thank You.
