Sling was an add on when I purchased my TV. Not very good instructions on how to use Sling TV. I am a novice when it comes to this TV service. In the stage of just trying to figure out how to use the Sling TV service.

First time buyer for cable alternative product. Didn’t know what to expect. Great value, awesome picture quality and easy to use.

I looked at numerous streaming TV/Movie plans and this was definitely near the top, but not my favorite. It has a great selection of TV channels, including Hallmark movies, which was a top priority for my wife. We also wanted the FOX news and FOX Business news channels but even with both packages, there's NO Fox Business. For that reason, we decided to go with another package. We did like the reception quality, the guide, the "On Now" feature and many other features. If Sling ever gets Fox New AND Fox Business (and still keeps the Hallmark channels), we'll be back.

Unlike some reviews, I find the picture fantastic. I actually proclaimed WOW! When I first loaded into a 4k HDR game. Definitely and upgrade from 1080p. I've viewed 4k content from apps native to the tv, xbonex movies and games, as well as non 4k content from my windows PC based cable TV system. Even the cable TV content looks great. I assume the poor reviews didn't go through calibrating for their content / viewing area, or they have poor input signals. I did purchase two sets, and setup both slightly differently. One, was calibrated through the xbonex menus, to follow their suggestions. The other was set with LG specs, for expert 1 setting, turning off the trumotion, energy saver, dynamic setting,etc. Leave all that off, it will muddy up the picture. Haven't tried these, but my other lg's stutter terribly on Tru motion. Turn off those setting, and turn on hdr for each input/ app. You should see a beautiful pic. Even if you didn't get the Superbowl price. My only gripe is LG removing the energy savings button. It was nice to have that for bedroom at night.

Honestly didn't know how I'd feel about this but I'm really happy that I tried it out because it has all my favorite tv shows!

Sling TV is the best cord cutting option for me. Shop around. Sling is always in the conversation due to price and selection.

It's nice to know you get Sling TV with sharp Tv's for the first 30 days for free. Withhold you get to enjoy more movies.

The 2018 Samsung Q9FN is an excellent television. The picture quality is superb, with contrast approaching that of OLED televisions, but without the “burn-in” problem to which OLEDs are prone. In addition, the brightness can be twice as high as in OLEDs. The fit/finish and overall build quality of this television are also excellent. The sound quality is good, but I would recommend an external sound system to match the overall quality of this unit. The TV arrived in perfect condition and was surprisingly easy to set up. I did have one problem getting my Wi-Fi connected to the TV, and I called the Samsung 800 number for assistance. Without any wait time I was immediately connected to a Samsung technician who walked me through the process that solved this problem. I believe that the problem with the Wi-Fi connection was specific to me, and that most people will be easily able to connect to Wi-Fi without difficulty. Overall, in my opinion the Samsung Q9FN is the best possible choice for those who are willing to pay $3,000 for a television.

I use sling tv during the college football season to watch pac12 network games. Having fiber internet, I never had any issues with bandwidth or speed and it runs flawlessly. My only complaint is their different tiers of service. If you pic the second tier, you loose some of the channels from the first tier. I get that it is designed to get you up to the third tier, I just don't care for that type of marketing. The new DVR systems works great. Overall, it is a good bang for the buck and keeps me out of contracts with cable or satellite companies.

I love that I can have more choice of my channels, and I can adjust my line up at anytime depending on the sports seasons

30 days is good trial period. Although if you sign up without buying a television (30 day came with TV purchase) you would get 7 days, which is also plenty of time. Sling is great alternative to cable, has "guide" and ability to watch things in demand for free & with minimal charge ( both noted). Sling gives you two choices as far as packages (orange $25 and blue$25 OR both for $40) and then options to add categories (kids, sports,etc) onto your package for $5. It is great streaming option to purchase channels far less than traditional cable.

Has all the,required channels I need to include sports. Like the martial arts channel but it's in the middle package.

If your contemplating on buying one of the curve TVs, honestly like Nike said just do it. I bust my tail working hard everyday 4am to 3pm and decided to treat myself to something real nice for Christmas and I’m truly happy and have no regrets about buying the Curve tv. It show movies and even Netflix crystal clear and very precise. Movie nights truly feel like your in the theaters especially If you got a good surround system hooked up to it. The built in speaker system actually sounds good just Incase you where wondering and it’s the curve that actually adds to the illusion like your in the theaters. If you had the projector and screen in mind honestly these TVs makes more sense from the stand point of 1. it’s going to show your movies much clearer 2. Cheaper in price and you’ll still have a theater feel in your house 3. Long term these TVs should out last the expensive projector bulbs (IMO) it’s a win no matter what direction you look at it. Love my new tv. Picture is even better than in store. What makes this one better than all the other TVs of its size is the vibrant colors, black levels and watching in the dark. Can see every little detail and just has great picture. Beware though, I was not told before I purchased that I would be refused to be allowed to take the tv if a laid it down. My truck has a hard topper so I could not sit it up. The manager (I’m guessing) was extremely rude and condescending about it and was talking to me as if I was stupid for thinking I could. I have never been refused to take a tv and lay it down (just bought one last year without issue from Best Buy). Just know that if you purchase this tv, if you cannot sit it up while transporting (even if it’s 5 minutes away in my case), you will have to have it delivered or else you will “have your Samsung warranty void and Best Buy’s return policy will be void”. Despite this, I do love my tv and think it’s the best 65 inch tv if you can’t afford a QLED/OLED

I just purchased one of the most recent models of Samsung's line of smart TV's. I bought a 32' inch model which suits my room best. Installation to the cable box and all other setups were quick and easy. The control settings work fine, the remote control does, as well. The initial setups and iniializations were seamless also. No issues. a breeze! Sound quality is great, especially for the size of the tv. Picture quality is very good too although some colors and whites, at times, aren't sharp. I love the colors, sounds and functions of this tv; ( a smart TV with preinstalled apps and internet); but, just recently, one major arose which I have yet to fully remedy. I cannot turn on the TV without having to reboot it! I literally have to unplug the HDMI cable and the plug from the back of the tv for a few moments and then plug them back into respective slots on the back of the TV just to be able to turn the tv on again. Very annoying and I'm going to go have to return and ask for an exchange for another one. I'm pretty sure and hoping this is just an aberration and won't occur again with another fresh, new one. Too bad! I was enjoying my TV viewing experiences up until that began to happen. I'm really inclined to vote 'yes' in terms of recommending this model TV but in going to have to say 'no' because this sort of thing is not supposed to happen. especially so soon after having purchased it Technically, the jury is still out. I'd love to change my mind but I'm going to have to say 'no'. Sorry but Samsung needs to rectify this issue and not allow this to happen.

I am still new with non traditional tv programs. This Sling tv is also fairly new. It has good numbers of channels, not many. So if you just watch certain consistent channels most of the time, this Slung tv is sufficient. You can avoid having to flip or browse hundreds of channels that you pay for from your traditional programming and watching only a few. The interface I feel could be better, maybe could be better mapped so easier to navigate. Since it’s free for me (tria from bestbuy), I’m not complaining too much.

Sling TV has everything you need without the cable cost. Make sure you have a solid internet connection though!

I bought this TV few days ago and had Best Buy Geek Squad mount it on the wall. Great picture, I can watch TV with the windows blinds open, no glare what so ever. This TV reminds me of my famous old Pioneer ELITE Plasma tvs which were the best plasma tvs on the market which were discontinued many years ago but with a much better picture. . This Sony tv beats all other tvs in a heart beat. I mounted the "Sony - 3.1 Ch Hi-Res Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer" using HDMI cable that came with it and added the "Sony - Wireless Rear Channel Speakers" and I love it. The sound is great. One thing I ran into which I can't figure out, after I added the soundbar and speakers, when I change channels or rewind/fast forward the DirecTV DVR, there is at least a three second sound delay, so it takes at least three seconds before the sound comes back. Has anyone ran into this issue? Other than that, the TV and sound are great. clear crisp picture and sound. Great job Sony. Great job Best Buy Geek Squad.

I got this free for 30days when I purchased my TV. It seems cool but not sure if it is worth the subscription.

I received a 30 day free trail and so far I enjoy it and have purchased. There are different packages you can get. I like being able to get stations that my cable service doesn't provide. Especially the local stations. I live in South Western PA. 30 miles to the west are WV then another 110 miles Ohio. Then 90 miles south is West Virginia again. I like being able to see loca news from cities not that far away. For me, it is worth at least trying the free 30 day trial. I think you'll like what you can see.
