Free Willy was a great family movie about a young boy who fell in love with a whale and helped train him and then help him escape due to a plot to kill Willy and collect the insurance money.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE. THE SONG WILL YOU BE THERE BY MICHAEL JACKSON IS PLAYED IN THIS MOVIE, ITS A GOOD FAMILY MOVIE... FOR ALL YOU MICHAEL JACKSON FANS LETS STAND STRONG HE IS INNOCENT... THE PEOPLE ONLY ARE OUT TO HURT HIM EVEN SINCE HE PASSED AWAY CAUSE THEY HAVE NO MORALS AND MOST LIKLY R GETTING PAID TO TO THE FRAME

Just kidding.. but not really. MJ is great but this is a lovely family film with some adultish suspense. I don't remember being scared when I watched it when it came out. Very good movie to see a little of what these creatures endure.

It makes you really think about the animals that are in small places such a heartfelt movie kids loved it and brings you to tears

Nothing can beat this unforgettable family classic. An eye opener for the situations that have been currently going on in recent years about whale captivity. “Free Willy” still stands it’s own and is a timeless classic. You could also never forget Michael Jackson’s popular hit for the movie “Will You Be There”. People should watch this movie to remind themselves of/about whale captivity and what we can do to help take action and make the world a better place.

The kids thought the movie was ok. They may watch it again

Film is great for families with children under 10, but not something that needs to be revisited after the initial viewing.

Love the visual clarity on my 4k. If it left you with the feels when you were younger, it will bring back memories for you like it did me... especially on the MJ queue ;)

I had enjoyed a lot to watch Free Willy when I was a kid. I was hoping it comes out on Blu-Ray and then it is finally out after all I waited for like a long time! :)

Movie was well watched when we were all growing up, on VHS obviously, glad I found it on DVD. Now I'm able to add it to my movie collection!
