But..,., But the calling and texting is thru the Freedom Pop App only !! I couldn’t use the calling and texting apps that my iPhone already had preinstalled . That was really weird for me and I didn’t like that. I went back to my Mint Mobile sim within an hour.

It is free only if you register through their website which enrols you for lot of paid services without your knowledge. Then when you call customer care to cancel services, it says that i should submit a ticket on their support website (which is different from the account management website) which never logs you in. Also, we should use their App for making phone calls and messages (not the regular phone app on your iPhone) and this app gets stuck and never works. In summary, it's intelligent way to sign you up for something you can never come out of. In short, don't loose money trying something different.
