Very disappointed. Way too loud, sounds like internal compressor loose or not built correctly. Top vents send cooled air upward instead of sideways, defeating purpose. Didn't put out much cooled air either. So loud when running sounds like a jackhammer. No way a person could sleep in a room with this unit. Also evaporator container too small, so unit leaks water constantly. I had to return this as it didn't work properly and wasn't worth the purchase price. Best Buy was very helpful with return. I bought a smaller BTU GE portable AC later and it works greatI should have brought this instead of wasting my time and money on this crappy Freonic AC. I should have paid more attention to the many negative reviews on the Freonic portable AC, don't buy the Freonic AC it is a piece of junk!

No batteries come with the purchase, the air conditioner is very noisy no hose . I have to buy a hose for the conditioner after purchasing it from Best Buy store.

Cools bedroom pretty good but is way too noisy. Plan to return.
