I originally ordered this used from a seller on Amazon inly to have them inform me it wouldn’t arrive in time for Christmas. I was able to find the same DVD - only new & at a better price on Best But. Not only did it arrive on time for Christmas, but it arrived early!

This movie depicts realistic realities for some youth and keeps the audience attention.

Good find at a great price! It also shipped fairly quickly.

Where shall I begin...awesome motion picture! I remember viewing this film at as very young age, but couldn't recall the name for many years. One vivid memory I always had, while trying to recall the title is Samuel L. Jackson playing chess in the park. If you're a person who enjoys dramas that keep you thinking and wondering just what may be next in store for the main character, then I recommend getting your hands on this motion picture. If not that, then at least watch it on youtube or something.

This movie is gritty and powerful. This kid seems to have the world on his shoulders, but finds a way out.

"Fresh" is a hidden gem of a film. While most people were salivating over "Boys N' The Hood" and "Juice" and the other "hood'" movies, this film was giving lessons on how to tell a "hood" story with a reality that the other said movies missed the mark on. The blu-ray's image is quite good. Considering it's an Echo Bridge release, it's almost revelatory. For the price, it's a no-brainer. The audio is lacking a bit but perfectly acceptable no less. The only major blemish the missing special features from the Miramax Special Edition DVD. That said, the movie is gripping and the image quality and price of the blu make this a steal.

Most drug movies talk about a young man trying to make come up in the drug game, but to see it from 12 year old's eyes was just brilliant. A strong performance from young actor Sean Nelson, even his one-on-one with Samuel L. Jackson, he still show some range

I was looking all over for this movie and I sure am glad that BestBuy has it. It is a great movie and you should get one for your collection.

This is a fantastic little drama that was overlooked by money. The blu-ray is technically proficient but there are very little extras. This is a gem and at this price point you should take the plunge.

TheSound track is out of sight, can,t wait for a release on blu-ray .
