I love every Jason movie and not much more to say beyond that

After the disappointing "A New Beginning", the "Friday the 13th" franchise had a "reboot" with "Jason Lives" -- a smart and funny installment. Predating "Scream", this one has self-aware characters and funny in-jokes (note the paintballer's headbands), while always taking the Jason character itself seriously. Not much plot or setup, but one wouldn't expect any out of a sixth entry in a long running series. The making-of featurette on the disc is great and has on camera interviews with lots of key players and cast - but could be a little longer. The commentary (which is different than the one in the 2004 box set) is fun and informative. Some great deleted scenes will be a delight for fans; however, the rest of the extras on here are not that special. Definately worth an upgrade if you only have the original movie-only DVD.

Tommy Jarvis goes to the graveyard to get rid of Jason Voorhees' body, but instead inadvertently brings him back to life. Now Jason wants revenge, and Tommy must defeat him once and for all.

this movie seriously does rock from begining to end the whole movie series rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! friday the 13th movie series = the best of the best jason voorhees = the best of the best

this was my favorite friday, with my 2nd favorite jason, CJ Graham as him. verry good movie! oh and i totally met CJ last week!

pretty good movie, great picture and sound, and i would recommend it. can't wait for the upcoming friday the 13th deluxe editions of 4-6!
