I have seen all the fright night movies, the classic 1 and 2 versions the remake that went to theater and now this one, In my opinion this should have been the one to be a remake and go to theater, but for some reason just went straight to dvd, I loved it more than the one that went to theater, the special effects are awesome, right from the start of the movie i was on the edge of my seat and end was also perfect, and i can't believe the blu-ray cost under 20 bucks, so if your a fan of the other fright night movies believe me you donot want to miss out on this one!

I like this one as well, just another take on the classics.

Going in, I had absolutely no expectations, even though I love the original movies. After all, this was a straight-to-video so-called sequel to a mediocre remake at best. Well, I have to say that while the film does have its flaws (lots and lots of 'how did he get there/get out of there' kind of moments), it's surely a fun movie, and I would even say that it's better than the theatrical remake. I am puzzled as to why they decided to call this FN2, since it is *not* a sequel to the Colin Farrell movie.

Remakes are a dime a dozen. Re-tellings tend to be hit or miss with their doing any justice. That said, Fright Night 2 is a decent re-telling. I'll admit; I never watched the remake Fright Night because I heard bad things. When I saw that this was a re-telling, I was open to giving it a chance, and it was worth it.

This new slant on Fright night is refreshing however I am a big fan of the originals. This put a nice bow on the first one (as did the original) and kinda paints the finishing touches on a picture, These movies of this age seem to be spit out with substantially less acting effort than the older ones. CGI has taken the forefront to true acting and it's hard nowadays to find a true hit. I am however easily entertained and love sexy female vampires so I'm in!

Only picked this up because I wanted to have both "remake" films. The film really isn't that great, it's decent as long as you don't try to compare these to the original films. They can actually be fairly enjoyable/entertaining.

This is an average sequel to the remake of the original Fright Night from the 80's. This kinda follows the newer version. But really vampire fans want to see action, blood and really good kills. This movie has all of that and is worth a view.

It was nice to see they kept the original movie alive and added more impact and excitement. Effects were great and if your in to the dark side of things, this needs to be in your collection.

Not a bad remake of the original Fright Night Part 2. Same premise but it was a shame they couldn't get Anton Yelchin to reprise his role as Charlie. Guess it wasn't in the budget.

I decided to buy this movie cause i already own pt1,So i was really disappointed that this second movie did not take a bigger leap with their story and cast.Nothing else to write.

I liked it just fine, would have preferred for them to tweak the story a bit and make a true sequel and not just a retelling.

Fright Night Fun , good movie . I would recommend .Not for younger viewers through. Some nudity and a bit of bad Language . I would recommend you watch before you let the late teen age's( 18 /19) see it. Not for everyone.

It's ok .not bad scary a bit but that's not very scary.story line is confusing... Not bad!! For $5 movie.

I liked the remake of Fright Night, but this one makes very little sense in following with the remake.

Fright Night 2: New Blood is almost an exact clone of the original Fright Night movies. There are several elements in this film that are very similar, thus this is a Straight to DVD title that suffers from being predictable and clichéd. Being a huge fan of Tom Holland's 1985 original film, I am greatly disappointed in this film. They never should

PRETTY VAMPIRE/LEAD ACTRESS... STORY DECENT AT BEST. WATCH DON'T ADD TO MOVIE COLLECTION.

Scared my wife :-) Almost as good as part#1 ..Store has a great selection of movies too.

same ole same ole plot and story , average acting and special effects not that great

This is less of a sequel, but rather a remake of the remake. They changed the settings, and the gender of the main villain, but it's still the same story of the original and the recent remake. That's not to say that fans of the series won't enjoy it, but keep in mind there is no new ground that was broken in this chapter.
