Nice no frills microwave for the price. It has a popcorn button that actually works too! It's pretty quiet too. The only flaw is the button to open the door. You have to push it really hard (you have to hold on to the microwave itself or it will move), then once you finally release the door open, the button sticks and you have to wiggle it free or pull it out. Kind of annoying. If you can handle this flaw, then get it. If this will annoy you, make sure you try the model in store before you buy.

Having too many electrial appliences on the same circuit has caused the circuit breaker to flip too many times. I was looking for a smaller microwave to fit on the counter that would not flip the breaker and this one fills the bill. It has just enough features to make it easy to use and the price is a super bonus.

When my full-size microwave died on me unexpectedly just before the holidays I didn't know what to replace it with. I knew I didn't want something so huge taking up so much precious space. I found this mid-sized to be perfect for my needs. It includes all of the buttons for various quick cooking that the larger versions come with and is spacious enough inside to fit a full sized dinner plate which is the biggest item I would put in a microwave. I do not use the microwave very often, so it was wonderful to find this while it was on sale at my local store (#1443). If you don't need the excessive space of a full-size, this will work just as well for you and take up half the room!

I had a small GE microwave for 20 years and decided to get a new one and let my son take the GE to college. It cooks faster than my old one and has some nice features. The one drawback with this microwave is that the button used to open the door sticks and you cannot close the door unless you pull the button back out. This happens about 3 out of 4 times. Other than that, I am happy with my purchase.

It is a good microwave. The other reviews I read helped me decide to purchase this model. The one bad thing I read about it before buying was regarding the door opening mechanism not always functioning properly. Unfortunately the one I bought also suffers from this problem. I am guessing it is just a poorly designed door release. It certainly doesn't make me regret having purchased it. I bought the microwave to put in my office at work for heating up my lunches. It works great so far. I use it pretty much every day. The door release is really the only thing I have seen as a problem. If this will bother you don't buy one because I'm pretty sure that they will all have this sticking problem. With a little nudge when closing the door the release button pops right back out almost every time now that I know what to expect. If you can live with that then you won't regret buying this microwave.

It's pretty small and the button to open the door sometimes gets stuck but overall it works and heats up my food

My wife and I were not exactly in the market for a microwave at the time but when a appliance goes...it is usually not when it is convenient. Definately worth the money and is small enough not to take up too much counter space but large enough to accomodate family size dishes and containers.

As far as cooking performance goes, it's 900 watts so it doesn't heat things up quite as fast as I would like but beyond that there are no complaints on the cooking or the display controls. The gripe about this unit is the door release. 8/10 times when you open the door the door release mechanism sticks and you have to pull it out so the door will completely shut. Has done this since the first day, I hoped it would loosen up and stop doing it but it hasn't. If given the option to do over I would choose a different microwave simply because of the door release mechanism.

This is a good size for heating or re-heating meals quickly. It doesn't take up a lot of counterspace.

Purchased for the break room at work. For the money this was the best buy in the store....

You get what you pay for with this unit, not the best but it was cheap and can heat food. I would say for a college student it is perfect as if they destroy it you won't lose that much cash.

a little hard to operate some features with out opening the owners manual. all so the door open button a little stiff and slides the unit back when pressing. hard to see in door window when operating.seams to be well put together.

I would be pretty happy with this microwave, but we have only had it for a month and the door is already broken. The door button stays depressed after it is pushed and then the door cannot be closed. It is pretty irritating.
