The only thing i don't like is the window insert is a lousy set up! Still this unit is best upstairs with having a dog verses to the window unit

I found it a bit pricy but then you get what you pay for. EASY INSTALLATION..all you do is connect the hose, insert the window adapater which extends both bottom and top and plug it in and VOILA! FIRST THING I NOTICED is its WHISPER QUIET.. secondly, I didn't want to have to drain water so there's a "dry mode" and a "cool mode" be sure its on the cool mode and you won't have to drain water. Otherwise its a dehumidfier and if you want that you'll have to add a separate garden hose (size) as an additional drain. It has a remote and an amazing feature I particularly like and that's the oscillating feature where the leuvers the air comes thru swing back and forth acting like a fan as the cold air comes out. So glad I purchased this. You will be too.
