Loud ice maker

First two were Newair which lasted about a year each. Decide to switch brands this time. This Frigidare is a little smaller which is good. But it is very loud compared to others. Would not recommend.

I have used different brands of ice makers, and I like this one the best. I like the light grey interior much better than white interior of the previous ice makers. Overall, I am very pleased with this ice maker and I highly recommend it.

Better Than Expected

I am guessing it would overfull 2 average ice cube containers for storage in your freezer. Don't fill completely unless you need a lot of ice, say for a party or something like that

Tip - to make firmer larger drier ice, use colder water. Allow the first couple of batches of ice to fall into the water reservoir to chill the water.
It is intended that ice produced be periodically transferred to zipper lock bags for storage in a conventional freezer.
