Kept my bedroom nice and cold, which my bedroom is a nice size, it has my cal king bed, a 9 drawer dresser with mirror 2 night stands T.V. and vanity with lots of room to walk around, and my bathroom cold which is also nice size, double sinks, garden tub and a separate shower, these 2 rooms are directly in the sun with no shade, so yes I would recommend this ac.

The air conditioner fits well, cools a large size bedroom and is fairly quiet. I would recommend this product to others. It fits well in a standard window and the water drains and evaporates well to the exterior. So far I have not had any issues with the cooling capabilities.

Works great. Easy instal. Its easy on the electric bill too.

I bought one of these last year and it works like a champ. So I bought another this year for the living room. Only a couple minor gripes.... 1) I don't believe you can hook up a drainage hose to this a/c. It would be of great benefit to me. 2) Last year I bought the same size a/c, 12k btu, and I thought it came with a remote with temp sensor. It didn't. This year I saw the remote on the package so I was excited....but it's not a temp sensing remote. Just a normal remote if you're too lazy to actually get up and change something. Pretty worthless. My own fault for not memorizing model numbers and their features. Employees there aren't of much help with a/c units, I'm sure cause they only carry them a handful of months here in Saint Paul, MN and don't get trained on them in that amount of time.

I was looking for this specific model after reading other online reviews. There is a slight difference in the models from the manufacturer (FFRE1233Q1) and the ones supplied to Best Buy (FFRE12B3Q1). The enhanced remote is replaced with a more basic one. No remote thermostat sensor, no lcd etc. I'd say it's worth the lower price for features that would otherwise be used rarely. It does a great job of cooling my apartment main dining and living area even on eco-mode. I also have a rotating fan circulating the air down the hall and into an office and bedroom which doesn't keep it as cool but it helps so I do not have to run another 2 units in those rooms.

I purchased this ac for the hot summer that WA is experiencing and got to say it does the job, the only thing is that it does draw a large amount of power so make sure to have a dedicated socket just for the AC or it will make many of your electronic to turn off and on, this was to be expected do to the cooling power. HAPPY CUSTOMER.

Keeps my bedroom super cool within minutes...the remote is fantastic for when you dont want to get out from under the covers! Good value for the money...easy to install in window...friend had it bolted in window in 10 minutes

This 12,000 BTU air conditioner replaced an old 8,000 BTU model that was dying. What a difference! I used to have the 8,000 model running from 10AM to 10PM non-stop. Running all day it still did a mediocre job. This new 12,000 BTU model CRANKS OUT the cold air! I'll run it for a couple hours and then turn it off for a couple hours because it gets downright chilly in the large room (about 500 sq ft). One issue that I should clarify concerning dimensions. The website states that the air conditioner is 19" wide. The box indicates that the window opening needs to be 23" wide. That threw me! The metal box housing the air conditioner is indeed 19" wide. The 23" is needed for the plastic panels that fill the open widow space on either side.

Great air conditioner. It coosl more Sq ft then what is stated on the box. It as been running non stop and really puts out the cold air.

A little loud when fan is not on low. Keeps a large room cold and comfortable. Have the remote never used it . Easy filter to change and clean. Con-Heavy when lifting to put in window.

I bought this air conditioner after much research. I decided not to use my "electric hog" central and try this efficient unit to cool my house. So far it is doing a great job. My entire 1st floor is cool, even when temps have been in the upper 90's. It is very easy on the electric, too. I am saving a lot of money using this instead of my older central unit. I definitely recommend this to all.

name brand, lite weight, easy to install. real cold air

Good value and was on sale. Needed the extra cooling for a large area and with the programmable options it only runs when needed. Can set it up and leave it on and does a great job.

Turn it on and within 30 minutes the room in cold...Bought this to cool two room Bedroom/living room...works well but the energy mode likes to shut off to quickly. Probably because of where I have the unit placed. Next season I will place it in a better direction.
