Great size and excellent performing freezer. Perfect for family.

We were looking for a frost-free upright freezer that would fit in a certain space and we found it. Extra bonus of light inside freezer and key lock. Best Buy matched a lower price from a competitor and Best Buy's service plans are always more reasonable than any other competitor.

This unit is worth the purchase. I am pleased with the overall size/function and I do recommend it.

I replaced a Frigidaire - 13.7 (bought in 2002) with this purchase. I'm pleased with the differences 13 years make. The extra .1 cuft seems like much more and the indicator light is good for peace of mind (the last model didn't have it and I was lucky to not lose all of its contents). Ample shelving and lots of light. I'm very pleased thus far.

We considered adding a large refrigerator/freezer for the garage but based on the price and reviews, we bought this. Love it. Well organized easily holding orders from Pike Street Market, Omaha steak and Cisco. Quiet and efficient. The delivery and setup was professional, on time and complete. Highly recommend.

Paid more than I wanted to. Works fine. A medium size freezer that is frost free. Only complaint is that after the first week, the motor noise became rather loud and somewhat annoying. Wondering if it will last at least as long as my last freezer that quit after 10 years...

good freezer, good price, big enough but a bit noisy...

Our freezer was delivered and works great. We had a chest freezer for many many years that still worked but I wanted to go to an upright so I could see and find things easier. This freezer has a bright light inside which is wonderful, freezer locks, and has an indicator light so you know it is running.

This is a very nice size freezer for two people. I filled it with a lot of veggies and fruit from my garden. I did not think I would like the one deep shelf but used a basket to hold my raspberries and it worked out wonderfully. Great size for small family.

It's only been a few weeks but seems like a great freezer. It freezes food very quickly and is frost free. Wish it had another shelf and it is kind of loud but we use it in the garage so no big deal.

This a great unit for the price. I was replacing a chest freezer, and this is small enough to be efficient, but big enough for the household of 2. Solid construction, stays frosty cold. Only negative is the analog temperature dial, but I can live with that at this price point. I highly recommend.

This freezer is a little larger than i expected but no complaints there. It works well and freezes everything that goes into it (as long as the freezing point is within the range of the freezer temperature controls...) Door is a little tough to open which means the seal is good...

Wanted to replace an upright 30some year old freezer that was given to me. The door handle was broken off and I had to use a child lock to ensure the door stayed closed as sometimes the rubber seal did not hold. Freezer iced over requiring having to empty and defrost every year which was a pain. Saw this freezer in Best Buy on sale. It is smaller cubic inches but was big enough for me. Price was very reasonable with free delivery and they hauled off my old freezer. The best part is no ever having to defrost to remove frost ice build up. And no worries about the door coming open and my food getting ruined. It runs quietly and is perfect size for me.

I was so excited to finally buy an upright freezer. We thought we did our research and so selected this Frigidaire. The ordering process through Best Buy went smoothly as did the delivery. The problem is the freezer. There are grommets that are needed in order to keep the shelves from slipping and falling; these were not delivered with the freezer. I didn't realize the problem until long after the delivery truck was gone. I called Best Buy and they did not have the grommets nor were they able to get them. I called Frigidaire and after several phone calls, they sent me grommets: the incorrect grommets. (The booklet that came with the freezer clearly illustrates the grommets and how they should be placed on the shelves.) Again, I called Frigidaire and because the Customer Service manager was tired of dealing with me, she told me that the shelves in my particular freezer did not use grommets! Next came the appliance people who came to the house and upon seeing the shelving said that the grommets were absolutely imperative to keeping the shelves in place. After many attempts to obtain the grommets, they reported that they, too, were unable to find these parts. The freezer has been returned to Best Buy. It took almost a full month of frustration trying to get these simple parts that ended the whole thing. Don't bother with this model or any other that has shelving like this.

My wife and I were looking for a small self-defrost freezer, and this Frigidaire filled the bill. It's quiet, good looking, and maintains zero degrees easily. It is as efficient as a slightly larger Energy Star freezer.

My old freezer had a weak door seal. I would have to push against the door to make a tight seal. The seal on this freezer is so good it requires a little force to open. You will not have to worry about your compressor overheating due to running too long.

Great extra freezer. Has plenty of storage space plus the convenience of shelves. No more hunting around or digging out other frozen items before getting to what you want. Can actually see what you have so nothing ever disappears only to be found when you clean the freezer out.

Ordered online after reviewing many other websites. Found this, price matched it because I wanted to buy from Best Buy! Such an easy and pleasant experience from start to finish - delivery guys were the best! Product excellent as well. Keep up the great work Best Buy!

Excellent supplement to our two drawer fridge freezer. We did not have enough space and we kept loosing stuff in the bottom of the drawers. Now everything is in plain view stored in large containers that fit the shelves. I recommend adding a shelf. Its a $35ish option.

We ordered this last May, the customer service called many times to make sure I've chosen the required process for the best delivery experience. The product delivered in a very good condition, there was a dent (small) but Best Buy made a very good deal for it. The product is working V.good until now, maybe a little noisy in the beginning then we get used to it. The noise is really when it comes off, there is a high strike like sound. To be honest, now I am just noticing its sound when it comes off, not when it is working. we managed to reduce the cooling degree in order to reduce its noise, and we just make it on the coolest when we shop for bulk every 3-4 months. other than that, it is not on the highest level of freezing, and it is managing very well. We were thinking about this 13.8 and 20.9 Cu Ft. We ended up with this 13.8 as it is more than our small family needs. Of course, if you are a big family, consider the bigger, but for us, as I mentioned, this is more than enough. We don't live in a home, so, we are using it right now in the dining room, and we get used to its sounds, but to be honest, it took us about 2 weeks to get used to it, and we managed to reduce its cooling after it freezes the food perfectly. Hope this helps anyone who is hesitating and considering many brands or sizes.
