Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the dishwasher's cleaning performance and quiet operation, with many praising its ease of use. However, some users noted that the wash cycles are lengthy, and a few expressed concerns about the rack design and door sturdiness. The relatively small capacity was also mentioned as a drawback by some customers. Overall, the positive feedback on cleaning and noise levels outweighs the negative comments on cycle times and other minor issues.

    This was a great buy.

During the past 9 years I've had 2 different dishwashers and neither one seemed to "wash" the dishes. I'm very pleased with this dishwasher. I find it quiet but maybe it's because it is as far away in the kitchen as it can be. I was surprised at how long the quick cycle ran. Prior review talks about the silverware bin not standing up correctly. They are right, it seems to lean most of the time. I like the controls and not having to turn a dial. Hope it lasts. So far, I love it.

Loud and Doesn't Work After 8 Months

We purchased this dishwasher as a rental home replacement, it's sleek and has a lot of nice features. However, it's very loud and takes nearly 3 hours to complete a cycle. After having the unit for 8 months it is not working - not sure if we should throw in the towel and just purchase a new one instead of dealing with the future hassle. Don't expect the life of the dishwasher to last beyond a year.

better than I thought it would be!

When we got this dishwasher (bought on-line without seeing it), I thought I had made a big mistake. However I've been using it for 2 days now & I'm very pleased with it. It was very easy to install. My husband & I did it together in about an hour. It is much lighter than my old one & the racks are light too, which seems "cheapy" to me. I did keep my old silverware holder from my old one because the one that came with this one was shorter on the sides. The racks also seem smaller than my old unit despite being the exact same size. I know it will take a while to get used to it, so I'm giving it a chance. It is doing a great job cleaning. I used the "pots/pans" setting always on my old one & I automatically chose that setting the first time I used it. Be prepared for a VERY long Pots/Pans cycle. The Normal cycle does a great job. This is a "no-frills" unit & very inexpensive, but it's definitely a good choice!

I've had this dishwasher for 2 months. I cleans well and is quiet. It takes longer though than my old dishwasher but is much quieter.

I bought this as a change out for an old magic chef model that was loud and didn't work all that great. This thing is extremely quiet and was simple to install.Get the installation kit they sell and the only other thing you might need is a hose clamp.Excellent value for the price.I brought in an online ad for $212.49 from bestbuy.com and they matched it in the store, which was selling it for $249.99.

This is an inexpensive dishwasher with limited features but designed with enough choices to get the basics done; delayed start, touch pad controls, heated dry, hard food disposal, and tall tub design. All the items I was looking for.

    Great Deal, Great Dishwasher!!!

Just replaced my old Kenmoore washer that was not starting on its own. This one is way better. It has a second sprayer underneath the top rack that works great. This dishwasher doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the $500 ones do but it gets the job done! This deal is amazing! $60 off the retail price, $30 SDG&E Rebate and free delivery/shipping. I removed the dishwasher the night before and they hauled it away and dropped off the new one the next day all for free! I installed the new one myself in about 30 minutes and it works like a charm!!!

    Not a good value!

This seemed like a good value for the money at the time, but it's a very noisy model, and as soon as the warranty expires, so does the dishwasher. (Don't bother with the extended warranty -- nothing practical is covered!) Expect about a 2-year life span. We had expensive repairs completed at the two-year mark, and that was a year ago. Same repair is needed, but we're opting for a new on this time -- but not another of this model! You get what you pay for, apparently, where dishwashers are concerned.

This Dishwasher is an excellent value. It cleans the dishes, even unrinsed, completely, and has even taken off stains left from the well water I had up until last fall. Great deal!

    Good Dishwasher

We bought this dishwasher at Best Buy in January of 2009. Our old dishwasher was on the fritz and we were looking for an inexpensive replacement. We found this one, and for the most part we are very satisfied. The only complaint is that even with the drying featured turned on, the dishes still come out soaking wet, regardless of how long you leave them in the dishwasher after the cycle is finished. With the exception of the drying feature, this dishwasher is a good value for the money.

Dishwasher works well. Quiet but does take a long time. I would recommend it though for the money. Remember, your just cleaning dishes, not building rockets.

    Too much noise!

I've had this unit for a couple months now and am overall pleased with the actual function of the unit. It cleans quite well, the various features seem to perform as intended, etc. Considering the cost point, I am quite pleased with the performance of this unit. My one rather significant disappointment, however, is the noise this unit makes. It is advertised as having an "UltraQuiet sound insulation package", which I found to be seriously short of its claim. When I removed the unit from the box I discovered that there was no insulation blanket that wrapped around the exterior of the tub, nor was there was any insulation at the toe-kick - both of which were on my old unit that I had just removed. I took the insulation from my old unit and customized to fit my new Frigidaire unit. Even after installing the insulation package from my older unit this machine was a fair bit louder than my previous Whirlpool dishwasher. [Note: I didn't realize just how quiet a dishwasher could be until a couple weeks ago while on vacation. The condo we stayed in had a dishwasher that was virtually silent! We had to actually touch the unit to determine if was running or not!!] Again, for the price point I believe this unit to be a decent dishwasher as it actually does perform well. I think it should not be advertized as having an "UltraQuiet sound insulation package" when in fact it does not.

    Frigidaire - 24" Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher

Was the only dishwasher that would fit the snug spot in our kitchen. Cheaply made, but was an inexpensive purchase. You get what you pay for. The dishes get washed, but make sure you pre-wash food off of the dishes. I couldn't believe when I learned it takes almost 90 minutes for a load to complete.

    Stay far away

Just installed this and it leaked right away. spent a while making adjustments but the leak was coming out of the door. opened up the dishwasher and found the problem in just a few seconds--the gasket on the bottom of the door does not seal all the way across. I thought it was just defective, but this is apparently how it is designed. I can't really speak about any of the features because quite frankly, if it has a hole in the front (which this one basically does) nothing else matters. the overall build quality is not good however (even for the price), and to be honest the capacity is awful compared to the unit this was replacing. maybe the only thing positive i can say about it is that for the one time it ran it was quiet. but i wouldn't buy it for that. i am going to return this as soon as possible.

It has all the basic features and the dishes are washed clean. Not very noisy, but not super quiet. This was on sale when I made the purchse and has a rebate from the utility company as well. I recommend this for everyone.

i've only had the dishwasher about a month and so far, nothing bad or great to report. it's working, dishes are clean, but it's a lower end model, and I can tell by the way it "echoes" when i open it.... very basic, very chintzy. Main thing... it WORKS! I couldn't afford much, so for the money, it is worth it!

I had this installed in February and the entire household is thrilled with the quietness of it. Washes well. Lots of room for dishes, pots and pans. I will be ordering one more for another residence.
