We use lots of ice for drinks, coolers, and fishing. This little ice maker rocks. We have not bought a bag of ice all summer. Our fridge ice maker quit and the cost of replacing it was double the cost of this machine. Very happy with the decision. This ice maker works much faster than the one in the freezer.

Only time it makes a noise is when the water is low for making ice. Then it makes a low fan noise, which is understandable.

Ice makes in minutes but also can melt very fast. As 2 loads or so dropped I quickly put ice in my freezer in a container. Makes small cubes.

It is nice that it is so portable because we is it at home and also take it in our camper. It is nice that the ice basket always stays full and it automatically makes more when needed. I am very happy with this purchase.
