My cooktop from Frigidaire exploded underneath and we heard the sound in the whole house. Technician from Frigidaire came and was not able to fix it. After two weeks he came with the part that he told us this cooktop needed in order to get fixed and still didn’t work after the replacement. Now this technician said that he needed to order a different part and it looks like we are about to spend Christmas without a cooktop > 1 month without a working cooktop! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. It is my only Frigidaire anppliance inside my house and in only 8 moths after we purchased it catastrophically failed. The one I had before last me almost 9 years. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CRAP!!!!!! I never usually review things online but I just don’t want another family to experience what we are experiencing right now. A complete nightmare.

Overall, a significant upgrade over my old gas stove! Boils water very quickly, safer with the kids, and limits indoor air pollution. Downsides: The buttons are not very responsive (sometimes have to poke them half a dozen times for them to work), power cuts off seconds after removing a pan, sometimes vibrates noisily.

This cooktop produces even, precise, and rapid induction heating and takes some practice to get used to. Boils water very quickly! An interesting feature of induction is the cooktop itself is not actually heating, but rather the cookware heats up which in turn returns heat to the cooktop surface. Induction does require specific cookware, and the stainless steel set I'd used for 20+ years was not compatible. Most modern stainless cookware will now be compatible, as is cast iron. Bridge mode of the two smaller units looks promising but I've read this can create uneven heating (on a griddle, for example). The slider heat controls are not ideal. All in all, this unit is excellent so far.

Great little cooktop. Induction heats up super fast without a lot of heat coming from the cooktop. You do have to keep the control touch pad area dry or it might not respond. Depending on the cookware you used it can be more noisy than an electric top. Overall happy with the purchase. Bestbuy did the installation for me and the tech was on time and friendly. Took Bestbuy a week to get the top in stock and installed. I tried going to the blue color home improvement store to get it at first and it took almost a month and it was still not done so i canceled with them and came to Bestbuy.

We love it. It is very easy to clean. It looks good. It heats everything so fast, especially boiling water. It is also very safe.

I just received my Frigidaire induction stove top. The instructions are easy to follow and I tried out all features. My pots worked great with it, so I don’t need to buy new cookware. I am very happy my purchase.

Boils very fast and impressive. After a couple weeks it started to scar on the surface making it look dirty. The burners seemed to only work on 7-9 heat settings. I never got any lower settings on heat 1-6, so I had to do most of my cooking on the higher heat setting making it very tricky to cook. The touch controls are very very hard to work with, you have to try them several times to set them. I returned it for an electric cook top that had knobs.

Very happy with my purchase, excellent price compared with other Induction Cooktops. Happy to have all my kitchen with the same brand and style.

Great cooktop. Induction cooking takes getting used to but cooks wonderfully. Great product.

Works great, no more burned on food on cooktop! Burners stay cold if not in contact with the pots & pans.

Will update this review upon installation. Cooktop was delivered timely and on inspection made it safely. The cooktop is gorgeous, the buttons in the cooktop itself match the sleek low profile look we were going for. Excited to use this and learn to cook on induction top.

Manipulating the controls is a little bit tricky. The locations of the burners really works if you have a hood positioned behind the cooktop.

It's a pleasure ro cook on this cooktop. It heats evenly and quickly, and simmers at a steady temperature. Cleaning js easy.
