This ac works very well in my daughters bedroom. She has a condition that requires her to be kept cool. This ac does the job. My husband mounted it on her wall and she uses the remote. Keeps her cool.

Great A/C for a mid sized room. I liked the way it cools my room immediately and using the remote is convenient and simple. I'm not too impressed with the energy saver mode because when ever it cuts the unit off or on in the that mode, it's pretty loud and the room temperature drops to the point where you start to feel too warm. To compensate for that I adjust the temperature setting and my room remains comfortable.

Easy to put together, easy to install , chills quickly. Read the instructions ( always helps ) and you will be up and chilling. 150-160 square feet is probably the max. If you let run in a bigger room , it will cool down but takes awhile. Auto fan and energy saver settings work very well. Good unit

Will know if August if it is going to be the right fit. The one I purchased last year still works great.

Needed to supplement my central AC on these really hot days, this little unit has done a pretty good job. It cools down the room and takes humidity out, but I would like if it blew colder air.

Great AC for a small room! Love the energy setting, turns off when the temp is right and turns back on the temp goes up again.

the remote is handy but you cant tell the exact setting at nite but it works to shut it off when in bed and your to cold to get up the only miner complaint is it goes to economy when turning it on first this is a very miner pain it works as good as any other air ive ever had

I bought this Frigidaire 5,000 BTU air conditioner for a small room, but it is effective and helps cool a larger area than I would have thought possible. I leave the den door open and lovely cool air drifts down the hall and into the dining room. What is really great is it's quiet function and it's energy saving feature. One simply chooses a desired temperature on this setting and the AC cycles on and off as it maintains this temperature.

Cools a small room <12x15 foot.......two speeds, digital temp readout and remote control.......VERY quiet compressor noise....moderate fan noise. Can't hear the compressor cycle on and off when fan is on high....great for sleeping.

I bought this unit to cool down my room. It does great! I can turn it on and it cools down my room super fast. I bought this just in time for the heat wave. I don't know what I would have done without it!

I highly recommend this product! We use it to cool the master bedroom in our home and within less than ten mins of turning on the AC the room is completely cool.

Unit was very easy to install, light weight compared to older unit. Love the remote feature. Cooled the room to a comfortable tempature.

This is a basic, small (5000 BTU) unit for a SMALL bedroom. Not to heavy (I am a senior..) easy to assemble and install. For a little over $100, it was quite suitable.

this air condition was excellent for this summer. not only was this AC kept the room cool but it also did not waste too much electricity. I was saving money by contacting con Edision about energy saver program. also I got this on sale for $135. sweet deal.

Great product for the cost! My poor nephew's bedroom was so hot and this ac was the perfect solution!! It's not hot anymore!!!!

I am happy. It does a great job! It cools my 12x15 room well and some more of the apartment.

Works just as described. My husband and I have it in our bedroom and we love it. The timer option is especially handy as we often set it when we go in to grab our son's baby monitor and the room will be cool when we're ready to go to bed.

I really like this window unit, cool's well, love the remote, and temp control. I sleep well with the unit on as it's not very loud.

I purchased this to replace an LG model, which I normally only have as a backup during hurricane season to run off my generator. The unit worked so well especially with the energy saving mode, I purchased a second for our laundry room, as it is not vented and generates a good amount of heat humidity during the summer. I set it to 77 degrees and forget about it. I have since seen almost no increase in my bill and my central air now has the ability to cycle during the summer months. I have also tested this in our backroom at a lower setting and it got pretty cold, so I know it will come in handy if we have to run on generator power.

Small size makes it easy to maneuver into position but also means the small diameter fan is a bit louder. Works well with cooling beginning very quickly after turn-on. If it were located anywhere except a bedroom the sound level would not be objectionable. As is, it's much quieter than our old , much larger, unit.
