I like this product because it has a remote and it cools the area I need cooled. It's not that loud either.

I bought this for a kids room and it cools it off quick wbough

It works good and once it finally cools down the room it stays that way. But it does make a rattling noise so if you are a light sleeper or are annoyed by noises while you sleep I would NOT recommend this for bedroom. But it's a good a/c.

I bought a different model from fridgedaire and had to return it for noise issues. This one works as advertised and cools my master bedroom with no issues.

It is installed in an 8x10 bedroom and the bed is only 1-1/2 foot from the unit (can't put it any where else). If there were more space, perhaps the very loud sound of the compressor activation would not wake me from sleep. I've tried various things to keep the vents from rattling. The GOOD points are that it is extremely cost effective and does not cycle needlessly. It is so efficient it will go quite a long time before "sampling" the temperature to see if the compressor should activate, and usually the compressor remains stand-by. My previous Frigidare was just as efficiently satisfactory, and if it had not been for a hail storm, I'd still have it. I just wish this one were not so noisy. Recommend with misgivings regarding noise.

I love this AC! It's been a dream especially on the hot humid day, plus when the room gets to cold, which it often does, we turn it off with the remote.

I put this window unit in my master bedroom. The unit it replaced was much bigger, and the old unit was noticeably cooler. The old unit was strong enough to cool half of the house, but with this unit, we find that we need to leave the door to the bedroom closed or it just feels room-temperature in there. I would like it to be a little stronger. With that said, and in all fairness... this unit is not intended to push as much cold air as a larger unit. So, essentially it does what it is intended to do. I also like the features on the unit. You can set it so that it will shut off after a certain amount of time. This way, you don't fall asleep comfortable and wake up freezing. That was a good move on their part.

I purchased this A/C and so far I am very happy with my purchase. Note to buyers make sure when you purchase this unit transport it laying flat on its base not on its side or upside down. The reason is that when you transport the unit in any other direction you will have to wait two hours after installation to turn unit on and feel cool air come out. This is to allow the freon time to settle in the tank as per the installation instructions. I found out the hard way after I thought I purchased a defective unit and when I read the fine print I found out what was wrong.

Is not a 5 start because is a bit noisy, to reduce the noise I had to remove the cover on top of the filter, besides that it does throw nice cold air

For a rather small unit it cools a rather large area. It does a pretty good job of dehumidifying also. I was also able to install it into my window by myself. Some reviews have been critical of the noise level, I have had very little problem with this. It does make different sounds from time to time but I do not find them excessive.

We bought two of these models because we needed to update our older air conditioners. Both run well but sometimes a little noisier than expected when turned to high speed. Other than that they have worked great and have kept us cool this very warm summer!

It was easy to set up and for my room size it was great

This A/C unit works great. It cools the bedroom and is fairly quiet doing so. The only issue was that the economy cool would cycle on and off quickly. I moved the sensor from in front to the side. After that it cycled on then off properly.

It's a small window AC unit, My generates a lot of scratching noise when cooling turns on, Works well with fan only. Perhaps it's my bad luck but I will contact BestBuy support asap. Perhaps they will be able to fix it. It cools my little bedroom (about 140sqf) without any problem. I haven't seen my energy bill yet so I don't know how economical is it. It takes about 7-10 days to hear form Frigidaire when additional information about satellite/replacement parts are requested by email. It's very difficult to reach them by phone.

Great price excellent cooling system for small,medium room. I got more for my buck for this one!!

This Frigidaire unit is the best unit I've used for the price I paid. No problems whatsoever and very easy setup. Love the remote. This unit works wonderfully

This air conditioner is perfect my my addict office. It's a small room in the hottest part of the house. It cooled the room from 90 degrees to 74 extremely fast. It has two way adjustable vents which is great for have the air flow where needed.
