As I removed the Frigidaire dehumidifier from its’ box, I noticed that bits and pieces of black plastic were coming out along with it. To my disappointment, one of the very flimsy casters was crushed. The device was poorly packaged, very little styrofoam packing inside the box. You would think the casters would be detached before shipping the product. In any case it was one issue after another with the product and I took it back to Best Buy the next day and swapped it out for a Honeywell. The Honeywell dehumidifier was packaged well and right out of the box worked without any issues. I wish I had bought the Honeywell in the first place!

Perfect beast! Continues to keep my large basement dry. It managed to also get rid of the smell that developed from the excess humidity. I love it and would buy again.

Great! it works! Now our bathroom is dry out of moisture . No foggy mirrors, and no wet walls when you use this dehumidifier.

This dehumidifier has reduced the humidity level significantly in my room. It's a little bit noisy, but you can handle it.

Old one rolled a 7, had to buy this and works better then I thought it would. A little bigger and worth it.

Had this for about 3 years. First unit died within two months which fridgeaire originally told me to back to best buy to replace. After some back and forth they finally replaced and the next unit lasted for about 3 years and now the pump only sometimes works. Shame, because every website lists thisas the best all around dehumidifier.

This is my second replacement and this unit failed in less than 9 months from installation. Code F0 and coils freezing turned off and unplugged to do a full reset to clear the code. Allowed the unit to thaw and then froze again within a couple of hours. Checked for airflow blockages and none found. Not effective in reducing the humidity at this point.

Machine lasted just over a tear before the F0 error code. Electrolux is very nice and sends a free replacement unit. However this replacement is a base model with no features. No pump, no humidity control and no temp indicator. Complete fail. Look somewhere else.!

The dehumidifier pump failed about 10 months in. I was able to get it going again for another month, when it failed permanently. I rerouted the water to a drain and the unit continues to work, but without the pump. I asked for repair on warranty. I was told they would replace the entire unit, but only if I disabled it and sent them parts. I declined because I needed the unit and could not count on them to send a new one. Now they've had the nerve to suggest I buy an extended warranty. Do not buy this unit unless you don't need the pump and you don't mind getting a worthless warranty.

Used for 2 summers then it started to display 'F' error status when other dehumidifier (Arctic brand) that I bought at the same time, still runs strong.
