I like the fact that you can control the air conditioner from your smartphone. It cools down the room pretty fast. Would definitely recommend but it’s a bit pricey for the BYU...

I got this to replace my old frigidaire ac that broke down during the lockdown. I got this model because I wanted something more modern. I do like the unit because it turn on and off to maintain the room at the temperature you choose. There is only one real draw back, this unit is very loud. It has been loud enough to wake me from my sleep but not doesn't really keep me from falling asleep. I intend on keep it cuz i like everything else about it but be advised. It is VERY loud.

I'm so happy I purchased this AC I save on energy costs because it's EnergyStar rated AND I can either schedule it to turn on/off at set times every day, or just before arriving home, I turn on the unit from my cell phone app. I no longer have to walk into a stifling hot apartment!

Even though summer is over, I've had a chance to try out this air conditioner a couple of times. I'm very pleased with it, it's relatively quiet and easy to operate.

When it starts the cooling cycle, and then for several minutes after it ends the cooling cycle, the casing creaks, cracks, pops, crackles, and snaps. This isn't the "normal" gurgling or splashing noises normally associated with these window units. Extremely annoying if in the same room where you sleep. I've taken to wearing earplugs until it's replacement arrives. The scheduling functionality in the app looks like it was released half-finished. In order to edit the schedule, you have to completely delete the existing schedule and recreate it. Furthermore, it doesn't understand days of the week like a human does, and the calendar UI is so obtuse as to be pointless. I've had to make split schedules that run from 12am until morning, then turn back on in the evening and run until 12am in order to set it to run overnight. Without that, a "weekend" schedule to turn on at 10pm and off at 10am doesn't start until Saturday night (instead of Friday night into Saturday morning like you'd expect), and then runs through Monday AM (instead of stopping on Sunday, like you'd expect). You don't even have the benefit of using it via Google Assistant/Home because the app isn't registered in their database. After loving my "dumb" Quietcool, I thought I'd be happy with another Frigidaire. This makes me regret my decision and destroys any faith I had in the brand.

This is my first time having a 6000 BTU and you can use your phone to turn up and turn it down and set it and different times of the day so when I get home it'll be nice and cool in my room I love it excellent choice I fix I refer it and I can recommend it to anybody

I bought this AC for my apartment bedroom, it didn't quite fit the hole already in the wall, so i had to jimmy-rig something to fill the hole but it works great. I recommend everyone this product, especially if you have any smart devices like google home and alexa

Have only had it a short time but working well. Easy to install and operate. Not sure how often I will use them but the smart features are good.

Definitely gets cold! My room is slightly bigger than the recommended but still got really cold. But kinda noisy.

Works well - looks better but overall very satisfied for a window A/C. Not the quietest but not too loud either - as long as you are not sitting right next to it. It's more like white noise. No problem with installation or app to operate it so far.

I purchased this I it wouldn’t be an eye sore and also for the WiFi control. I love how it looks and how I can cool my room before I get home. Why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I spent a little more for what I thought was gonna be a very quite easy to install unit. It’s very loud not sure if it’s because it isn’t installed right but it sounds like a cheap unit. Also, it was leaving me scratching my head the way it’s designed to fit in the window.

Cools the space quickly, plus I can set a schedule so it turns on as I’m headed home from work and shuts off in the morning. You can also use the app wherever you are to turn it on or off or adjust the settings, exactly what I was looking for.

We purchased this 6000BTU to replace an aging 10,000 btu window unit. Your experience my vary but this cools the same room faster. Maybe it's the angle of the vents which are located on the top front edge, facing upwards versus the typical horizontal facing vents. Easy to install if you are handy with tools. Quieter than a similar sized Kenmore in another room. Ours rattles a bit at "eco" speed and low cool, but doesn't rattle at high cool and high fan speed. We have no use for the mobile app but it's a cool trick. I would buy another.

I shopped for a small-room AC starting last fall. This one had the size and price, so it was effectively a done deal, and I still like it. But I had really wanted Google voice control, which didn't work out! Specifically, Google Home needed the Frigidaire 2.0 app from Google play, yet the app didn't find my device. Frigidaire Smart Appliance app works on my phone, but as I said not on Google Home. I will review the voice accessibility now and then, so it's...very good, but not excellent.

A low cost 6,000 BTU unit that was easy enough to install; remember to measure the full width of the window as the sides were a tad short; overall, the unit is efficient and keeps the bedroom cool; I like the fact that the air vents are facing upward which allows the air to circulate better instead of blowing onto anyone facing the unit. Frigidaire should consider other colors as this unit was white. With time and more technological advances, these units will need to be quieter when on but overall, a good buy, from Best Buy.

Purchased because of the smart features and crisp white; sleek looks. However it’s been horrible. Makes loud noise like water being spilled onto a hot grate. Espionage the hotter days. Should have returned the first week but we were busy and didn’t get a chance. I’m still using it every night but with ear plugs. Stay away

Really nice unit. Perfect for a bedroom. Has a clean , sleek look and my 77 year old mom has no problems working it- (ease of use)

I’ve had this unit for over a year now, it’s still going strong and cooling my room everyday. I’ve even bridged it to  HomeKit using Hoobs. Love it!

This Air Conditioner is really cool! It fit in the window which was really important. It was easy to link it to my phone so I could control it from anywhere. It works as advertised and I'm really happy with it.
